    “Tower of God” Anime Adaptation Released

    Anime has been taking over the world within the past few decades. From the early days of broadcasting it early on Toonami to having it on apps such as Hulu, Netflix, and Crunchyroll, Anime has come a long way. Now, it is at a point where most anime fans go back and read the mangas now from their favorite shows. And one such Manga has now become an anime, the “Tower of God.” Except how this Manga got its start is a little different than the rest.

    Tower of God Anime Adaptation Released

    Now, usually, most Manga turned anime adaptations are created in Japan. This Manga was made on a South Korean App Called Webtoon. Webtoon is an app that pretty much allows anyone who can draw, to publish their own online comic/manga series. Because the tower of god manga started on Webtoon as opposed to originating in Japan, it didn’t seem likely that the anime industry would decide to use it. Now that it has, it changes everything

    This means that any comic/manga may now have the opportunity to be made into an animated TV show. This is a huge game-changer for creatives that want to see their works put on the big screen. We can only wait to see which non-Japanese artist gets the opportunity next

    What to Expect

    Fredo Bang, the 23-year old Baton Rouge rapper who overcame a Louisiana jail term to generate some of the most viral street anthems of the past year, keeps the momentum going with “Trust Issues,” his new song arriving today via Def Jam Recordings. The track is released ahead of Fredo’s third mixtape in 11 months, Most Hated, which boasts features from Moneybagg Yo, Lil Baby, and YNW Melly. Stay tuned for the “Trust Issues” video, arriving at 5 PM today.

    “Trust Issues” is the latest salvo in the unbroken string of hit tracks that Fredo has been dropping since last spring 2019, highlighted by “Oouuh,” “Gangsta Talk” featuring NLE Choppa, “Story To Tell” (Remix) featuring Moneybagg Yo, “Face Down,” and “Vest Up.” In recent weeks, Fredo shared videos for the aggressive “Yo Slime” (3 million views) and the bouncy “Waitin 4,” produced by Hardbody B-Eazy and DJ Chose (1.6 million views).

    LaMelo Ball is making Big Baller Moves!

    The Ball Family is back in the news today and this time they are actually making big baller decisions. The youngest Ball brother, LaMelo ball and his manager, Jermaine Jackson have purchased his former Australian NBL team, the Illawarra Hawks. The potential top pick in the 2020 NBA draft decided to play a season in the Australian basketball league to become eligible for the NBA draft.

    According to LaMelo Ball’s manager, Jermaine Jackson, “We own the team,” referring to the Illawarra Hawks. However, the Hawks have not commented on the sale, as reported by ESPN.

     

    LaMelo’s Time In Australia

    During his time in Australia, LaMelo Ball joined the NBL through their Next Stars program. The 6’7 point guard showcased his skills, averaging 17.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 7.0 assists in 12 games with the Hawks.

    Jackson expressed LaMelo’s affection for the Illawarra fans and the community, stating that they made him feel at home. LaMelo’s desire to make Australia part of his future led him to want to own the struggling Illawarra Hawks and strengthen the team with more American talent. The goal is to create an exceptional basketball program for the community.

    In addition to his personal ambitions, LaMelo aims to provide a viable path for other talented high school prospects. He believes that the NCAA has been exploiting college athletes for years, and he wants to offer an alternative where players can be properly compensated for their outstanding talents. LaMelo’s ownership of the team is expected to attract other high school players, knowing they will be taken care of and have the opportunity to play for a thriving organization.

    NBA Plans on Having Playoffs & Championship

    According to a NY Post article, multiple NBA sources have stated that there is still the possibility of the playoffs and a champion happening this year. Apparently, despite the current pandemic, NBA executives are hoping for an alternative version of the postseason.

    Reports state that NBA executives would like to have a remaining season of 5 to 7 regular games. It feels odd cutting the regular season short, but that I believe that is what times like this call for. A majority of NBA teams have played around 65 regular-season games so far this season, which is a fair portion of the season.

    Possible Playoff Scenarios

    If the playoffs were to take place they would be a shortened version of what usually occurs. There have been a few options discussed for the formating of the post-season. Thankfully one version that seems to be gaining no traction in terms of favor is single-elimination rounds. But when it comes down to it anything is possible at this point.

    It is likely that the playoff rounds would be shortened to rounds that are best of three. In terms of location of the post-season, it would most likely be held at one location in a more remote location such as Las Vegas or Hawaii.

    Final Thoughts: The NBA Season Should Be Canceled or Postponed

    Don’t get me wrong, I love watching the NBA playoffs. There is not much that compares to the excitement of seeing your teams or stars, in general, competing in the heat of the post-season. Still, I do not necessarily think that having a post-season is the best call. Even without fans attending the games, the likelihood of the coronavirus spreading is quite high due to the amount of contact that goes on in the sport.

    Even before this NBA season was postponed, people throughout the league were testing positive for the virus. Instead of having such a focus on there being a champion this year, NBA executives should shift their priorities to keeping people safe and employees who actually need the money paid. NBA executives are some of the richest people in the world and should stop focusing on profits for once.

    NBA Players 2k Tournament to Be Held on ESPN

    NBA Player 2k Tournament

    In an attempt to provide some form of sports-related entertainment during this hiatus from sports ESPN will be broadcasting an NBA 2k tournament featuring NBA players. The tournament will begin this upcoming Friday (4/3/20) and will take place over a period of 10 days.

    This is not the first attempt that the NBA has maid at providing some entertainment in the past couple of weeks. A few days ago the Philadelphia 76ers were scheduled to play the Phoenix Suns, but that was before the NBA season was postponed.

    Instead, both teams selected a player to compete against each other in NBA 2k. The Sixers had Matisse Thybulle play against a Sun’s player and provided a live stream of the game. It was actually kind of funny to watch and hear Thybulle’s commentary. I mean you can’t complain too much right now, because what other options are there?

    Who’s Competing in the NBA 2k Tournament

    The tournament will have 16 players from the NBA competing in it. Here is a complete list of whose competing and along with their seeding:

    If you miss Rick and Morty, then your not the only one. I miss them too but to deal with it. I watched this short samurai film of the two. The short shows Rick playing a Samurai protecting, Morty, from a group of evil ninja. Not only is the action cool, but the homage to Japanese manga “Lone Wolf and Cub” will melt your heart. The only thing this short is missing is a kunoichi Summer. “Check it out below.

    Season 4 of Castlevania Will Have So Many Twist

    Will Dracula come back to his castle?

    Netflix has announced that Castlevania will be back for a fourth season. After its celebrated third season, Castlevania is coming back with more of its beautiful story and action sequences.

    The announcement was made on Netflix with Devil Forgemaster Isaac looking into a mirror to say that ” Season Four Is Coming”.

    Season 4 of Castlevania Will

    As explained before, season 3 was different from its other seasons. Where the others had a great balance of story and action. Season 3 focuses on the story of the series. It carefully separates the characters and explains how the next season will take place. It is well pace and still has some great action scenes. This is my favorite season of the show thus far.

    Season 4 is still a mystery. We don’t know what it will bring but season 3 left us with so many cool options that I just can’t wait.

    There is no release date yet for season 4, but the next season for this classic show will possibly come out in 2021.
