Born and raised in New Jersey, Joey Band$ has had a passion for music since he was a teen. He started recording his own music off his laptop at 16 years old. Joey Band$ even used to audio engineer his own music from his basement when he first started.
Joey Band$ biggest accomplishment is looking back and seeing where he is today – on the road to success and living his dream. His biggest musical inspirations include Tory Lanez, The Weeknd and Drake. Just like his inspirations, Joey wants his listeners to ‘brighten up when listening to my music.’
“Their mood should change and become energetic and excited,” Joey said.
When we asked Joey what his biggest obstacle has been thus far he said “Life, because you never know what it’s going to throw at you at any moment”. With ‘God Is My Witness 🙏🏼’ in his Instagram bio, he stands by his saying – never give up on yourself and know your value and your worth, whether it’s 100 thousand or 100 million.
Joey Band$ has many projects in the works. He has been collaborating with Bill Kennedy, a great audio engineer for the past 3 years. He would be willing to work with anybody who would give him a chance to showcase his talents.
Joey wishes to become one of the best artists and be able to change people’s lives by my music – giving his listeners a place to escape and not feel alone.
