Snikt! Hugh Jackman Claws His Way Back to the Big Screen in “Deadpool 3” Wolverine
Gear up for chimichangas and a wild ride of adamantium mayhem, as Hugh Jackman makes a triumphant return to the big screen as Wolverine in “Deadpool 3“! For Jackman, returning to the iconic role after nearly a decade since “Logan” was a bittersweet experience. He took to social media to express his gratitude for the “best cast & crew” and his “two of my best mates,” Reynolds and director Shawn Levy. Reynolds, on the other hand, got a little emotional about saying goodbye to the set. He shared a picture of himself wearing his blood-stained Deadpool costume. He admitted that the suit usually conceals sweat and tears, but this time, it mostly showed tears. He showered praise on the cast and crew and declared his “unwavering gratitude” for the experience.
“Deadpool 3” wasn’t just any superhero movie; it was a production that defied the odds. Filming resumed in late fall 2023, braving both the pandemic and the actors’ strike. By the time the strike hit in mid-July, the film had already conquered roughly half of its shooting schedule. It is also the first R-rated movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This happened after Disney bought Fox’s assets.
As filming wrapped, Jackman shared a video of himself getting his signature Wolverine facial hair and haircut shaved off. With a grin, he declared it “time to shave,” marking the end of his (at least for now) journey as the mutant with the adamantium claws.
The plot and other cast members of the film are still secret. This makes people really excited to see the movie. We do know that “Deadpool 3” will have funny moments, action scenes, and surprising things happen. The Merc with a Mouth will team up with the famous Wolverine.
