Caleb Hurst Releases Unique Solo Version of “Get to You”

Indie art-pop artist Caleb Hurst is set to release a solo version of “Get to You.” Five years after the song was originally featured on The Honeysticks EP. Written by Hurst and former bandmate Ricky Montgomery, the song’s new iteration was initially created for fun but later completed after encouragement from Montgomery.

Hurst’s version of “Get to You” showcases his signature blend of digital and analog elements with soulful vocals. As a solo artist and producer, Hurst draws inspiration from artists like Björk, Radiohead, James Blake, and Frank Ocean.
Originally from Texas, Hurst moved to Los Angeles in 2014 and co-founded The Honeysticks, where he honed his writing, production, vocals, and multi-instrumentation skills. With his solo career, Hurst continues pushing the boundaries of indie pop and creating his unique sound. Fans can anticipate the release of “Get to You” as a testament to Hurst’s growth as an artist.
