On Monday (June 19), the business mogul was blasted online by both his daughter Aoki and ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons.
The pair accused the Def Jam Recordings co-founder of spousal and verbal abuse. They also leaked some private texts from their father-daughter conversation. In his post, Simmons apologized for losing control during the call.

One of them is Sil Lai Abrams, a writer who claims she was raped by the entrepreneur in 1994. Her story was featured in HBO’s searing documentary On the Record.
She didn’t name names in her 2007 book No More Drama, but she did assign him the codename “Ronald,” a man known for dating models and living a hard-partying lifestyle funded by his music career.
Simmons has denied the allegations. He even started a campaign called #NotMe to clear his name and hold his accusers accountable for lies. But he eventually abandoned the campaign when more women came forward to tell their stories.
Kimora and Aoki have been fighting against the rap mogul for months. They have both shared their experiences with the mogul on Instagram.

Russell Simmons finally apologized to his daughter Aoki after a long family feud. In a statement, Simmons said that he was “wrong” for what he said and did and is “deeply sorry” for hurting her.
She said that she is now “done” with her husband and does not wish to see him again. She also posted a muted video of the pair’s phone call with her dad, which was very emotional.
In the video, Kimora is crying and asking her father why she has to fight so hard to spend time with her children.
Kimora also blames her husband for making her life so difficult and says she does not want to spend more time with him.
She is also very unhappy with her daughter’s decision to post a screenshot of their private text conversations on social media. She also reveals that she has been going through PTSD from her father’s behavior.
