RAY KIRK, DANTZ, & Tia P. Come Together On ‘Closer To You’

Following their recent collaboration, ‘MOVE,’ RAY KIRK & DANTZ are back with another song, only this time with some extra help from female vocalist Tia P. The trio came together after the meeting and mutually agreed to combine efforts for worldwide collaboration.

The meaning behind ‘Closer To You’ comes from a deeper place. Being Christian, the artists wanted to make a feel-good song that you could dance to while getting a positive message across. “We wanted this song to reach audiences that may not normally listen to or associate house/Afrobeats with the gospel,” RAY KIRK stated. The record also features some Asian flare curated by DANTZ, the track’s producer.

‘Closer To You’ melds together some of the best aspects of multiple genres as the beat lays a foundation for the creatives’ vocals. RAY KIRK and Tia P. take turns going back in forth between KIRK’s almost chant-like vocals and Tia’s angelic voice making the combination holy.
