Biden Is Ready to Work
Americans have followed President-elect Joe Biden as he shapes his administration. In order for Biden to effectively reverse Trump-backed policies, he needs Warnock and Ossoff to win Georgia’s run-off election.
In addition, Biden offered his support to Warnock and Ossoff in a new television ad.
“As your president, on day one, I’ll sign a COVID relief package to fully fund the public health response led by Georgia’s CDC. It will provide free testing and vaccination for all Americans and support small businesses. To achieve this, I need Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in the United States Senate.”
Ossoff Dismissed His Republican Opponent David Perdue
Ossoff like Biden, supports progressive thinking and doing what’s right for the people of Georgia. His vigor contrasts Perdue and Loeffler’s hateful rhetoric.
“I dismiss them. This is just like garden variety paint by numbers, partisan nonsense,” Ossoff said to theGrio. “The attacks that they’re running against Reverend Warnock, yes, they’re racialized and racist and intended to ‘other’ him.”
Ossoff adds further comments to support his claims:
“The reason that they want to divide us is so that we can’t build the multiracial coalition that Reverend Warnock and I are building to demand health, jobs, and justice, because all Georgians, Black, white, Asian, Latino, Native American, all Georgians, deserve and need health, jobs, and justice,” he remarked.
Warnock Makes His Own Statement
“I’m not going to be distracted by the politics of fear and division … we know what they’re doing, these are all ways of saying that he’s something other than you. And it’s really unfortunate that people are still trafficking in this kind of politics,” he said.
Warnock continues:
“The broadening of a space so that everybody can breathe. That’s what America is about. That’s what my career has been about and that’s why I’m running for the U.S. Senate.”
America needs politicians that are willing to make a difference. Biden sees that in Warnock and Ossoff.
