815 Delivers A Brilliant Fresh Single Titled “On the Low”

815 yet again delivers a brilliant, well-produced blend of R&B on a slow trap beat titled “On The Low” that comes together to give us a very moody and chill melody for our weekend night drive through the city.

At the same time, the artist sends a message reminding us constantly to have time to sit back and relax, probably over a blunt or sharing a drink while enjoying our lives, reflecting on our worth, and learning that we are worth much more to the world.

815 had a conversation with us and answered our distinctive 8 Questions. Check it out below.

So tell us, how did it all begin? What encouraged you to start playing and making music?

I was six years old and saw a Chris Brown video at one of my mom’s friend’s houses. As soon as I saw it, I was mesmerized.

I looked at my mom and said I wanna do that and she looked back and said, ” Then Do it” It was something at that moment that made music my ultimate life goal; I had a different interest, just stayed.

Talk me through your creative process when you write new music.

I have multiple procedures. Sometimes it just flows, and sometimes I hear the beat and write to it. I usually mumble something over the beat, then write to that flow to ensure it fits the moment’s mood.

More recently, the process has been writing when I’m doing anything but music. A random melody pops into my head, and I’ll record it in my voice memos for later.

Can you tell us about your new single, “On The Low”?

I originally wrote it to a faster tempo on a different beat. That version never dropped, so I repurposed it for the rhythm I heard. It sounded perfect, more mellow, like a soundtrack for late-night drives.

The lyrics are just about me and how I maneuver my nightly activities, just having fun falling in and out of romantic relationships while focusing on the way to make this music pop. Even if you’re not an artist, you can relate to it.

We all try and fail at navigating life, dreams, and goals. It is all a balancing act, and that’s the gift and curse of it all.

What do you like most about being a music artist?

The expression I’ve always been in love with is music, and writing is the best way I can be honest with myself about how I feel.

I only write about things I’ve done or would do, so everything you hear on my records is authentic, from toxic heartbreak to emotionless lust. I get to be me.

What projects do you have coming up? Can you give us any info on them?

Chaotic Neutral is out now. It’s part of a trilogy. That’s all I can say

Do you have any tips for readers attempting to break into the music industry?

First and foremost, have fun; if it ever stops being fun, take a break. If it never gets fun again, stop. Also, creating a catalog is the best way to cultivate a fan base. If you finish the song, put it out.

Even if you don’t entirely like it, someone else will. It’s usually not s trash as you convince yourself it is. Give your producers credit and ensure it’s the best quality every time you drop.

Can you provide suggestions on resolving productivity and scheduling issues and minimizing overwhelming circumstances?

I don’t have those I create in so much bulk; I usually have free time for a long time before I ever have to do anything that takes away from music.

Name Three things you can’t live without when recording in the studio.
