Taking in the sights and scents of New Year’s Eve, you headed to your local 7/ 11 for supplies to make your resolutions a reality. The store has everything you need to succeed, from fresh fruit and juices to the latest in fitness apparel.

So you’ve vowed to stick to your New Year’s resolutions and make big changes. But it turns out that despite your resolve, life can still throw some unexpected snags in the path of your goals.

You may have hoped that the 7 / 11 Employees would be there to support you in your endeavors, but a recent series of alleged assaults has left you with some serious questions about their integrity.

A mother-daughter duo faces aggravated battery charges after allegedly beating an employee at a Broward County 7-Eleven in November, according to a report from the Sheriff’s Department. The pair — identified as 32-year-old Deonsha Bellamy and her 11-year-old daughter — began attacking the clerk with a black stick, Deputy David Celis wrote in his report.

The brawl started after the woman and her daughter argued with a customer about something, Celis wrote. After the dispute, the girl fought and threw the stick at the employee before starting to “aggressively” strike her with it.

After the fight, a martial artist, Nik Redzovic stepped in to restrain the pair and pin them to the ground. He later live-streamed the incident on Facebook, which garnered more than 20k likes and thousands of comments from viewers.
