Why Does Azealia Banks Think Nicki is Sniffing Cocaine?
Nicki Minaj returned to the limelight last week. She took to Instagram Live prior to her release of the extended version 2009 mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty to streaming platforms. The extremely vocal Azealia Banks toted claims that Nicki was a coke addict.
“Girl, if you sniffle one more time on this muthafuckin’ Live, sis,” she said. “The Barbz, you need to call her out on that. We have to address that sniffing, Nicki. We see through it. Please stop sniffing, sis. It’s not attractive anymore. Cocaine isn’t the same since El Chapo got caught. The original formula is gone, girl.”
“Please stop putting whatever you’re snorting up your nose, whether it’s baby powder or teething powder. It’s not okay, Nicki. And those breasts resemble a buttocks.”
Nicki Defends Herself
Immediately after Azealia Banks’ outrageous claims, Nicki Minaj reminded fans that she makes her drugs of choice known. Nicki asserts that she has nothing to hide either.
“I don’t know about others, but I wouldn’t be ashamed of any drugs I’ve taken,” she stated. “That’s why I openly discuss the drugs I use in my music. I’ve always done it and always will. If I’m not using them anymore, then I’m not, simple as that.”
“But let me be clear, I want everyone to listen up. I have never, ever in my life, not even once, used cocaine. I swear on Jesus Christ, and you all know how much I respect my Lord and Savior.”
Should Allergy Medicine Consumers Be Ashamed?
Millions of people around the world have seasonal allergies and find relief in talking allergy medication. Surely they can relate to Nicki taking Allegra.
“If I ever did coke at anytime in my life, I woulda been rapping about it,” she continued. “That’s just never been my drug of choice. I do take Allegra every day and also I have to take Allegra now, sometimes twice a day. But if I was crying or if I was just blowing my nose, this is me. All day. Runny, sniffly, all the time.”
Nicki Knows Coke Users in the Industry
Although Nicki is aware of frequent users of cocaine, she chooses not to indulge in use of the drug.
“By the way, I have a lot of friends or acquaintances in the industry that actually do coke,” she said. “I don’t judge them for it, but I’ve never tried it. Never wanted to. Never asked them to. Especially in the fashion world. That’s so common and normal.”
Nicki is clearly not allowing anyone to tarnish her name or her legacy.
