    Melle Mel talks rank below Eminem, and Kendrick says influence is bad

    Member of Rap supergroup Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Melle Mel has much to say about the hip-hop game. He recently visited The Art Of Dialogue to talk about the top 50 rappers.

    He also talked about the recent Billboard, Vibe list of the best rappers of all time, where he ranked himself at number 48. During the interview, Melle Mel discussed his thoughts on Kendrick Lamar and how he is one of the most influential rappers in hip-hop history.

    Melle Mel has always been very open and honest with his views on the game, and many in the industry have listened to his opinions. Whether it be about his career or how the game works, Melle Mel has always been a voice for the people.

    When he was young, Melle Mel started as a rapper in the East Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. He would release a few mixtapes, but it wasn’t until his debut album that he really made a name for himself in the hip-hop world.

    His debut LP, Whut Thee Album, was a success at the time with its combination of funk samples and hilarious punchlines. It inspired a new generation of rappers, including 6lack, JID, Denzel Curry, Logic, and Tyler The Creator, to follow suit.
