Zaneita Can’t Handle A Lover’s Lifestyle In “Bonnie & Clyde”

European artist Zaneita (pronounced zen-knee-tah), born Zaneita Elisha Gerald, has love on the brain. Though, not in the way we think. The R&B artist has referred to her music as “songs for the Broken Hearted.” Having learned from other soulful singers who speak of love, such as Toni Braxton and Alicia Keys, Zanetia writes songs that speak to the heart. Furthermore, Zaneita’s idols helped her develop her own distinct style that’s both heartbreaking and captivating. Every song she puts out comes packed with her infectious melodies and an interesting storyline.

In 2021, the North West London singer started working on her debut EP The Girl Who Lived. Shortly after, she dropped the single “Quarter Life Crisis” off the record in December of that year. Furthermore, the emotionally-charged music video has racked up thousands views on YouTube. While the song offers afrobeats and R&B undertones, it also shows off Zaneita’s rapping skills. Basically a triple-threat artist, the European talent can sing, write music and even rap. She’s a talent that can’t be ignored.

Recently, Zaneita released her love anthem “Bonnie & Clyde ” that finds the artist madly in love with her partner in crime. Though, Zaneita finds herself in a complicated predicament with her love interest. Will she stay or leave in the end?

Zaneita’s “Bonnie & Clyde” Tells Of A Complicated Love Story

Love can be difficult to navigate in a relationship. North West London artist Zaneita is no stranger to the unsafe waters of love and admits that she’s been hurt a few times. Afterall, the artist’s music caters to the hopeless romantics and broken hearted lovers.

“Bonnie & Clyde” finds Zaneita back in the trenches with a new love interest. Though, this isn’t anything like Beyonce and Jay-Z’s 2007 “Bonnie & Clyde.” While Zaneita admits she’s intrigued by her lover’s lifestyle, deep down, she knows it’s the best or safest option for her. Tackling themes of crime and lust, the singer allows listeners a front row seat at another one of her gripping love stories.

Furthermore, Zaneita’s featurette South London’s Kiddo 93 only adds more appeasing layers to the track. All in all,  ‘Bonnie & Clyde’ offers a fresh and yet familiar sound that makes her an interesting act.

Clearly, Zaneita already has skin in the game, given the success of her music. Even better, she’s one of the few artists who are fighting to revive the R&B genre. Her “Bonnie & Clyde” is definitely a track that deserves all the recognition. Even better, fans can expect to see visuals for the song sometime this month. Arguably, the music industry could use more artists like Zaneita. Fortunately, the North West London artist made it clear that she’s here to stay with a few noteworthy appearances. This year, Zaneita headlined her first show in Dalston’s Mustache Bar. Additionally, she performed at Boxpark Wembley. Be sure to catch more music from the female R&B artist.

Villano Antillano: The Pioneer of Queerness in Urban Music

The first non-binary transfeminine Villano Antillano is an artist born in Puerto Rico. She always knew her purpose was to make Trap music. At only 27 years old Villano grew their audience when collaborating with Argentinian producer Bizarrap Music Session #51.

Villana’s Origin

From the beginning, Villano always stated her objective was to “tell her stories and manifest through the music”. In an interview with El Mundo, she says, “I’m just a girl with a lot of flow, who makes music and people can connect with that”.

“I started making music a bit like therapy, to be able to vent, to a certain extent, all my feelings and tell my story, the story of my transition. I chose rap because it was the perfect medium in which I could express my feelings and metaphors. There I realized that I had a lot of courage and people turned to me”.

She also explained she grew up in a rural area of the town of Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Moreover, explains that her melodies are inspired by what happened to her while growing up in the street.

Collaborating with Bizarrap

Villano Antillano explains the pressure she felt when collaborating with Bizarrap because his fans are “too loyal and go hard”.

“Before recording, I don’t know how they found out that the next one was going to be me and they wrote me messages, which made me tenser. But once it’s done, I admit that I’m happy with the result and that I had a great time”, she recalls.

The artist met the Argentinian producer through Bad Bunny, who presented them in Las Vegas. A couple of months go by and Bizarrap proposed to do a session together she accepted and both went to work.

Antillano is an artist who is giving a voice to LGBTQ+ and women. Through her music, this transgender artist takes the opportunity to critique society. One that is still so far away from protecting her community and women’s rights.

“From me comes a desire to tell my story, to manifest myself as I am, and defend what I am through music. For me, it is very important to reach so many people, that they feel attracted by my proposal. I especially notice it in girls, there is like a new voice (…). The world of urban music is changing and this has been possible thanks to the struggle of many women”.

Other Collaborations

In the spirit of growing as a trans artist, Villano also has worked with other Puerto Rican female artists such as Young Miko, Ana Macho, and RaiNao. All of these artists popping up in the Latino scene, especially in the Reggaeton/Trap genre is huge because it is dominated by male energy. Villano is shifting the scene with her music and changing how we urban music.

Tell us what you think of Villano Antillano and how you think she’s changing the way of urban music.

Former NFL RB Frank Gore Finds Himself in Some Trouble in NJ

Ex NFL player and former running back Frank Gore is reportedly under suspicion of committing assault related to a supposed instance of domestic violence in Atlantic Citys’ vicinity. Reported by ESPN this seriousness of the situation could result in charges being brought against him. On Tuesday the Atlantic City Police Department issued a statement indicating that they reacted to a phone call at the Tropicana Atlantic City on July 31st. They found a 28-year-old woman speaking with hotel security. The report stated that the woman did not appear to be injured, and no complaints were filed at that time. However, after the investigation concluded it resulted in an assault charge against Frank Gore.

“Police were called to Tropicana Atlantic City on July 31, 2022, at 8:11 AM for a domestic violence dispute.”

“The officers found the victim, a 28-year-old woman from Miami, Florida, talking to hotel security. The victim appeared uninjured and did not make any complaints at that time. After further investigation, Franklin Gore was charged with simple assault for his involvement in the domestic violence incident.

An assault charge consists of either bodily harm or injury caused or bodily injury being threatened. The 39-year-old was issued a police summons to answer the charge at a date in court in the future.

Frank Gore’s Legacy

Gore officially retired as a San Francisco 49ers player in June after signing a one-day contract. There are only two players who have rushed for more yards and both are in the HOF (Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton).

Gore’s the No. At present, he holds the position of the third highest rusher in the NFL’s chronological account. Amassing an impressive 16,000 yards. Despite his recent tenure with the New York Jets. It should be noted that this athlete has also had experience playing for multiple teams throughout the league. He gained 653 yards rushing in 15 games. The longest amount of time he played for a team was nine years with the San Francisco 49ers. He also suited up with the Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, and the Buffalo Bills. He finished his career with 19, 985 yards from scrimmage and 99 touchdowns in 241 games.

Seattle Storm PG Sue Bird Retirement Approaching!

WNBA legend PG Sue Bird’s career is coming to an end, the league’s all-time assists leader, according to ESPN. The legendary PG appears to be calling it quits during the end of the 2022 season. Recently, Bird clarified this information over the internet.

“I’ve made the decision to retire after this year,” announced 41-year-old Bird on social media. “I’ve cherished every moment, and I still do. So, I’ll play my final year, just like that little girl played her first.”

The 12-time All-Star and eight-time All-WNBA selection hinted toward retiring previously during last season. Until now, Bird hasn’t committed to her retirement, however, after spending 21 years in the WNBA it seems fitting. There comes a point in anyone’s life where one feels they have nothing left to prove. Her legacy and her impact on the sport and the LGBTQ community is something that one may not be able to put a value on. Her limitless fearlessness and determination to help progress the game of women’s basketball. Not to mention, the global viewpoint on how many look at women. Bird’s proven to be much more than just a basketball player but arguably one of the most influential athletes of the modern era.

“You just know when you know,” Bird told media in Connecticut Thursday following the announcement, adding that the Storm’s East Coast trip, which features her final game in her home state of New York on Sunday, spurred the timing of her announcement.

“Of course, I’m sad,” Bird said. “It’s a little bit of like mourning, knowing I’m gonna miss it. But I mean, I have no regrets. I feel wonderful about my career, the people I’ve met, the things we’ve all accomplished… And I’m excited about the next chapter.”

She’ll be joining Sylvia Fowles, who was the All-Time leading rebounder, and’s also had a legendary career. Fowles and Bird retiring at the same time is just a testament to how far the game has come. In fact, even better to leave it in the hands of younger women who will carry the torch to even greater heights.

Rapper Lul Bob Chooses Himself Over Anyone Else In “Better Me” EP

What people love most about an artist is their relatability. Boston-born and South Carolina-based rapper Lul Bob can connect with fans on a deep and personal level. Before his 20th birthday, the rapper was in and out of the Juvenile Detention Center. He’d always been in trouble for something or another. Making matters worse, Lul Bob and his seven siblings moved around a lot growing up. Though, the moment he turned the music, was the day he turned his pain into poetry.

Furthermore, the rapper grew up listening to Lil Wayne and YoungBoy NBA. Bob started working on his pen game, writing lyrics to new songs and freestyling for fun. Even while incarcerated at 16-years-old, Bob quietly worked on his lyricism.

The moment he returned home from the Juvenile Detention Center, he dropped his viral freestyle track “Real Definition of Fake.”  Furthermore, the official version only added to Bob’s success after he garnished 787,000 Spotify streams. It wasn’t long before he landed a record deal with Good Money Global. Now a big time star, there’d be no stopping Lul Bob now.

The 20-year-old would keep the buzz going for months to come with tracks like “Demons”, “Flip The Switch” and “Pain.” Evidently, the success of those singles led to Lul Bob releasing his debut EP Better Me. The record finds the South Carolina artist continuing his emotional narrative.

Lul Bob Loves Himself More Than Anyone Else

Most 20-years-old want to enjoy life to the fullest. Though, Lul Bob makes it clear that he’s not living for the moment, he’s living for the future. Known for turning his trials and tribulations into emotionally-infused tracks, the rapper has a knack for crafting songs that come from the heart. In Lul Bob’s debut EP Better Me the artist has lived  through several lifetimes of pain and frustration, especially when it comes to relationships.

Furthermore, the two-track EP sees Lul Bob protecting his heart, whether that be from a love interest or his enemies. “Pretend Love” finds the rapper refusing to take a relationship to the next level, to avoid the pain of love. According to Bob, it’s better to just stay friends. Though, in “No Time” Lul Bob has other reasons for protecting his heart, such as staying alive in the streets. If his enemies find him acting “soft” he risks losing his life. In the end, he chooses himself over anyone else.

In terms of song quality, Bob’s growls and gritty sounding lyrics blend nicely over the guitar-infuse beats. Not only can he make a song relatable but also catchy.

Lul Bob clearly is on his way to the top. The South Carolina rapper continues his trek to stardom with his impressive debut project Better Me. While it’s only a 2-track offering, Bob proves that quality over quantity matters more. Currently, Bob is hard at work on his next offerings. Be sure to stay tuned for more music by the South Carolina rapper.

Dwayne Johnson Wants To Be Megan Thee Stallion’s “Pet”

It’s no secret that celebrities flirt with other stars. Dwayne Johnson made a recent comment about Megan Thee Stallion that could hint he might have a crush on the female rapper. After all, she is Houston’s HOTTIE COACH. There’s no doubt that Stallion has guys lining up outside her door everyday. Looks like Dwayne Johnson might have his eye on the rapper.

Celebrities love giving cheeky responses during interviews, mostly kicks and giggles. However, there’s times when they reveal apart of themselves that we didn’t know beforehand. For instance, Dwayne Johnson is known for being a womanizer. Though, we didn’t know he had a crush on Megan Thee Stallion.

During an interview with Fox TV show’s Dish Nation, Johnson kind of let on that he’s interested in the “Big Ol’ Freak” rapper. While promoting his new Warner Bros. animated film DC’s “Super-Pets,” Johnson and his co-star Kevin Hart were asked which celebrity they’d want for a pet owner. Hart took a minute to think before making Denzel Washington his pet owner. Though, Johnson readily admitted he’d love to be Megan Thee Stallion’s pet. The fact that he answered without any hesitation or forethought at all really speaks volumes here. Could Johnson have a crush on Megan Thee Stallion?

Not sure how that scenario would play out for Johnson, since him and Megan Thee Stallion are both in relationships with other people. Speaking of which, Stallions boyfriend, rapper Pardison Fontaine made a joke in response to Johnson’s answer. However, fans didn’t care for his comment and the rapper deleted the seemingly harmless jab. Of course, the rap couple have yet to respond to Dwayne Johnson’s confession.

The Interviewer Digs For More Details

Even the interviewer, Dish Nation’s Andrew Freund, seemed interested in further investigating Dwayne Johnson’s answer. When asked to clarify though, the former wrestler played coy and immediately backtracked. “Oh, we don’t need to talk about that. Okay?” Johnson told the interviewer. Moreover, Kevin Hart starts laughing to Johnson’s response, which lets on that there’s more to the actor’s answer.

Let us know what you think. Do you think Dwayne Johnson has a crush on Megan Thee Stallion?

Former NFL RB Marshawn Lynch Finds Himself in Trouble Again

The unfortunate news of All-Pro RB Marshawn Lynch being arrested earlier this week has saddened many around the world. Lynch has undeniably established himself as a captivating figure with a global presence, evoking inspiration and admiration among a multitude of individuals worldwide. However, like many, he’s human and is battling through demons of his past it appears as well. As per the report from ESPN, Lynch was behind the wheel at the early hour of 7:30 AM when he encountered a Las Vegas police officer who promptly signaled for him to stop. It was pretty clear he was impaired and they ultimately detained him. Soon after, he ended up in the Las Vegas City Jail, accused of driving under the influence, a mere suspicion that landed him in a difficult situation.

Reports did not show if he was tested for driving impaired or not. It still remains questionable if Lynch even has a lawyer or not. This is an ongoing investigation. It does seem unfortunate that one of the players who are beloved and embraced by the community appears to be struggling. Sadly, this is not his first offense, and he’s been dealt a DUI before. In 2012, he was caught driving recklessly, but he pleaded down to the lesser charge of reckless driving. TMZ reported that the vehicle was totaled, and it appeared to be undrivable after Lynch was detained for the DUI.

“Marshawn Lynch’s car appeared undrivable by the time cops arrived and busted him for DUI on Tuesday,” reported TMZ.

Marshawn Lynch Stint in the NFL

Lynch played for several teams in the NFL, however, he made himself a household name for the Seattle Seahawks. He was often called, “Beast Mode”, because of his ferociousness and toughness while running the ball. Players around the league often confess to how rigorous and tough it was to take down the like of Lynch! In Seattle, he rushed for 10,413 career rushing yards and 85 rushing touchdowns, per ESPN. He also suited up for the Buffalo Bills and, at the time, the Oakland Raiders.

Veteran WR Hints Towards Joining the Buffalo Bills with DE Von Miller

The NFL free agency has been running rampant this offseason. However, one of the key players that have yet to be signed to a roster is veteran WR Odell Beckham Jr.! Free agency has become an art in itself about selling yourself by having teams find interest in one’s talents. While he’s not ready to join or produce for any NFL team due to the injury (torn ACL) suffered during the most recent Super Bowl, it appears Beckham is enjoying the theatrics of it all. He’s continuously hinting at teams he might join, and this situation is no different.

He hinted at joining the locker available next to him via Instagram. That the Buffalo Bills are one of the favored teams to win the Super Bowl this season makes a whole lot of sense. While OBJ is nursing his ACL back to health, he most likely won’t play until mid-season anyways. If the Bills joined forces with all-pro WR, it would strengthen their chances of competing for a championship.

“What’s the locker next to u loook like !!!??” – @obj writes to Miller.

Buffalo Bills Excited at the Possibility of Acquiring Beckham Jr.

HOF WR Andre Reed added to the hype around the possibility, which naturally excited the fans. According to Sports Illustrated, Reed commented on how the colors of the jersey would look on Beckham. He added, his impact could alter the future of the Bills for the better.

“How would OBJ look in Red, White, and Blue?” Reed wrote on social media last weekend. “Him and Von runnin’ it back in Buffalo. Let’s just say we had a good convo last night in Atlantic City.”

Veteran WRs Steffon Diggs and Beckham Jr. have the potential to be magical, however, there is only one football to go around! Many believed the Rams wouldn’t work out because of their intense demand for talent, however, it worked out perfectly fine for them. In fact, many believe he might have won the Super Bowl MVP before his injury at the rate he was going.

We’ll see how the fate of OBJ plays out! What do you think? Let us know by leaving a comment!

Young Miko celebrated the drop of her first EP Trap Kitty, under the label The Wave Music Group. The EP has seven songs and two interludes made by producers Mauro and Caleb Calloway. By this being Young Miko’s first complete project, the artist assured she wanted to, “bring a unique and refreshing proposal for those who listen to it”.

Meaning Behind Trap Kitty

Moreover the EP Trap Kitty is the fruition of 9 months of work. It has a specific order so the listener can conduct a full trip. The work is presented as a “whole experience”. “From the beginning, I wanted to use the word “Trap” when I started this project. Trap is the genre with which I became known, it is part of my essence and where I can freely unfold”, said Young Miko. Meanwhile, the term “Kitty” relates as a way to describe women who tend to do things by themselves and doesn’t need help. “It’s a lifestyle, a mindset, and an attitude,” says the Puerto Rican native and author of songs like “RiRi” and “Puerto Rican Mami”.

The only artist who is featured in Young Miko’s EP Trap Kitty is Puerto Rican rapper Brray in their single “Bi”.

María Victoria Ramírez de Arellano, Young Miko’s real name, believes this EP opens the door for the audience to get to know her and her style of music better. She concludes, “It is a very complete project in a conceptual way. I feel that many people will be able to identify with my music and proposal.”

We may also ask some other, voluntary questions during registration for certain services (for example, professional networks) so we can gain a clearer understanding of who you are. This also allows us to personalise services for you. To assist us in our marketing, in addition to the data that you provide to us if you register, we may also obtain data from trusted third parties to help us understand what you might be interested in. This ‘profiling’ information is produced from a variety of sources, including publicly available data (such as the electoral roll) or from sources such as surveys and polls where you have given your permission for your data to be shared. You can choose not to have such data shared with the Guardian from these sources by logging into your account and changing the settings in the privacy section. After you have registered, and with your permission, we may send you emails we think may interest you. Newsletters may be personalised based on what you have been reading on theguardian.com. At any time you can decide not to receive these emails and will be able to ‘unsubscribe’. This will also allow us and Facebook to share your, networks, user ID and any other information you choose to share according to your Facebook account settings. If you remove the Guardian app from your Facebook settings, we will no longer have access to this information.
