6ix9ine Resurfaces In Cuba Following Gym Beating

6ix9ine has allegedly resurfaced in Cuba not long after the brutal beatdown at a Florida LA Fitness that landed him in the hospital last week.

The rainbow-haired rhymer was reportedly spotted in Cuba and footage surfaced on social media earlier this week of what appears to be Tekashi hiking up a mountain.

A caption for the viral clip explains that the “GUMMO” rapper has taken his talents south to the more discrete location of Pinar del Río, which is the capital city of the province by the same name and the tenth largest city in the country with a low six-figure population.

DJ Akademiks reposted the video footage which finds 6ix9ine in better spirits while rocking a straw hat of sorts and speaking Spanish. However, fans wasted no time in clowning 6ix9ine for fleeing America following the beating.

“Bro said he need to be far from every hood,” one person wrote while another added. “Bro ran to another country!”

The Brooklyn rapper (real name Daniel Hernandez) was attacked by a group of men inside a sauna at an LA Fitness in South Florida on March 21.

6ix9ine’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, says his client tried to fight off the attackers, but was outnumbered and badly beaten before he managed to flee. The rapper did not have security with him at the time.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene after gym staff heard the commotion, resulting in 6ix9ine being taken via ambulance to a local hospital.

A video of the attack posted on Instagram shows 6ix9ine lying on the floor protecting his head as two men stand over him and kick and punch him.

Plenty of Hip Hop figures chimed in on 6ix9ine getting jumped such as Chief Keef, Jermaine Dupri, Boosie Badazz as well as Tekashi allies Akademiks and Wack 100.

Jim Jones seemed to avoid speaking on the incident directly, only offering a cryptic response to TMZ when asked about the incident.

“I don’t know, maybe it was the wrong type of gym,” he said of 6ix9ine’s bloody beatdown while hitting the Milly Rock in front of the camera. “I be working out everyday.”
