Besides being born in MedellÃn, Colombia on October 15th, 1994, he later moved to the city of Cartagena. And by the time he was 5-years-old, he moved to Miami where Yatra continued his academic and artistic studies.

His real name is Sebastian Obando Giraldo. But he uses the last name Yatra which in Hindu meaning ‘sacred path to the divine’. Sebastian’s mother was the one who came up with the idea of the artistic last name where it’s known globally.
