Sometimes, you need to know when to quit and when to walk away. Sometimes, you should also learn to take advice the first time it’s given to you… especially when you directly asked for it.

This couple would do well to learn this and listen to the advice they received from Reddit’s r/AmItheA**hole community this week. The pair made separate posts to the sub to see whether or not the wife was in the wrong for her comments to her husband’s sister. Her sister-in-law offered her some advice about the pain of giving birth that she took the wrong way, prompting a cruel lashing response regarding her sister-in-law’s miscarriages.

When the wife found herself getting roasted by responses to her original post (the first post below), getting downvoted and resoundingly admonished, her husband posted from a different account to try and give an “outside” perspective of the situation. The result was the same, with commenters declaring the couple to be the “a-holes” yet again. The pair was told to apologize and beg forgiveness from the husband’s sister; we can only hope for another update in which the couple reports making amends.

Keep reading to see screenshots of these threads; a recovered copy of the deleted original thread (#1-5) is followed by the original thread’s responses (#6-13.) After that comes the husband’s thread and responses (#14+).
