Welp, I guess there’s another person whose against gay marriage.
Today, Grindr reported that the dating app’s president and former CTO Scott Chen is against gay marriage. Scott claimed that “marriage is a holy matrimony between a man and a woman” on a deleted Facebook post.
In the statement, he continued:
He continued by stating that gay marriage is a “personal issue” and he wished that money would not be donated to anti-LGBTQ causes. Instead, he believes that the funds should be used to benefit “hunger, poverty and suffering from war.”
Then, he ended his rant by stating that he’ll “never buy HTC products ever again, and I’ll never donate a cent to any Christian groups in Taiwan!”
INTO has reached out to Grindr for a comment about gay marriage, but nothing has been updated on this story yet. What do you all think? Should he still be the President of Grindr if he’s against gay marriage?
