    Florida Man Is Charged For Accidental Shooting Of Mom On Zoom

    What Happened That Day in Florida?

    Veondra Avery, the child’s father, poses for a mugshot at the Altamonte Springs Police Department on Tuesday. The 22-year-old Avery is solely responsible for the accidental shooting of the child’s mother, Shamaya Lynn, 21. The child allegedly retrieved the gun from a ‘Paw Patrol’ bag and shot the mother during a Zoom call.

    The toddler independently fired the gun, shooting Lynn in the head. The 21-year-old slumped backwards on the call, alarming her coworkers. Concerned, her coworkers decidedly, made a call to the police for a welfare check.

    Police officials later revealed the co-workers 911 call. “I just don’t know where to begin.” One of the girls passed out. She has the camera on. The baby is crying in the back.” The coworker also states that they heard a loud blast, then blood gushing from her face.

    Lynn, working from home, conveniently allowed her to be home with her two sons. She worked at a call center for New Balance, the Washington Post reports.

    Once authorizes arrived, Avery is seen performing CPR on the young woman. Before police arrived, Avery made a 911 call, pleading with the dispatcher of the urgency of the tragic situation.

    The paramedics and police arrived around 11 a.m; however, officials pronounced Lynn dead on arrival in their Altamonte Springs home.

    Avery faces charges for manslaughter and failure to securely store a firearm. This charge is punishable by up tp 15 years of probation, 15 years of incarceration and a $10,000 fine, according to State Law of Florida.
