Unexpectantly, Matthew Perry opened up about the level of anxiety he would feel when filming friends, especially in front of a live audience. Perry recalls pressure to get a laugh and when he didn’t he was devastated. “At least to me, I felt like I was going to die if they didn’t laugh” The cast remained unaware of the actor’s anxiety on set. Emotionally, the actor recalled his struggles and spoke with a newfound awareness that it was not healthy.
“It’s not good for my well-being, but there were moments when I would say a joke, and if it didn’t receive the expected laughter, I would feel uneasy and become extremely anxious. It would make me panic when I didn’t get the intended reaction.”
Kudrow even responded to his remarks with, “I don’t remember you ever saying that.” Then, Perry added, “Oh, yeah. I felt like that every single night.” Unfortunately, the pressures and anxiety definitely impacted the actor and contributed to his struggle with substance abuse. Although, Perry has been candid about his experiences, even pointing out out in one interview that he wasn’t aware of three years of filming due to being out of it on substances. Fortunately, Perry has come through the other side and is much healthier without substances and gratefully with the support of his friends.

Sixers Beat Hawks-118-102
The NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs continues with Round 2, Game 2 Sixers-Hawks. Julius Irving rings the bell. The legendary touch may have sparked some new found energy. Because, Once again, Philadelphia has won against their opponents. Philly’s 76ers regained momentum and were explosive over the Atlanta Hawks. Shake Milton’s performance provided additional support. Embiid scores a career high 40 points. Embiid, Seth Curry and Tobias Harris combined for 83 points.

It looks like Shake Milton became useful again. Milton scored 14 points in 14 minutes. Point Guard, Shake Milton made two three-pointers in the third quarter, including the first points on the board that game by a bench reserve. Joel Embiid is all heart out there. Just saying, If Embiid is this good while dealing with an injury; then, he will be an absolute beast once he’s all healed up. Embiid averaged 39.5 points and 11 rebounds in this series. Fingers Crossed, that he remains relatively healthy and doesn’t let his ambition put his injury at further risk. Shockingly, Joel Embiid is the first 76er who has reached 40 points in a game since Allen Iverson. Needless to say, Philly loves a competitve beast and Embiid may be the most loved since A.I.

Ultimately, the Sixers have made more than half of their shots from the field in five of their seven playoff games. Moreover, Embiid and Harris have equally shot 80% or better. While, Embiid and Seth Curry have combined to shoot 33-for-54 (61%) from mid-range. In fact, Embiid has increased his career high to 40 points and leading the Sixers to beat the Hawks.

TL:DR– Here are your top 5 sports highlights for June. First, Mayweather-Paul had their exhibition and it resulted in a no winner disappointing fans who paid for PPV. Second, Jokic MVP over favorite Embiid. Third, Lebron James decides he will change his number to #6 after Space Jam sequel. Additionally, several sports fines were distributed and two of them were for violating tampering rules.
Apparently, Pat Riley spoke on a radio station about leaving a key under the mat if James would return. As a result, Riley was fined $25,000. By that same token, Daryl Morey retweeted Steph Curry’s image of his brother in which he gave congratulations to his brother with the comment, “Join ’em” on top. Morey and the Philadelphia 76ers were fined $75,000 each. Finally, Bruins Coach, Cassidy was fined $25,000 after criticizing officials claiming bias. Many were underewelmed with the exhibition between and Youtuber, Logan Paul. Youtuber Logan Paul entered the ring with a gold foiled Charizard (reportedly paid $150,000) in jewelry necklace lanyard. However, Mayweather-Paul were all smiles afterward. Perhaps, the smiles were because Mayweather-Paul knew they were getting paid lots of money for doing practically nothing in that “fight.” Additionally, there was no knock out punch to end the exhibition. Instead, Logan Paul lasted all eight rounds with his opponent which begs the question was Mayweather phoning it in just to drag the fight out? Logan Paul ends up with $5-20 Million and Floyd Mayweather made about $50-100 Million for the televised PPV Exhibtion.

Lebron reportedly says that he will change his jersey number back to #6 after the release of Space Jam sequel. James wore #6 with Miami Heat and won titles in 2012 and 2013. Is the Jersey number change because of superstitions? Could poor performance by the Lakers after high projections when James joined the team be responsible for the change? Or is it just due to teammate Anthony Davis wanting the #23? Either way, he’s in good company with players who have worn multiple jersey numbers. In addition, Bruins’ coach called out officials. Reportedly, Bruce Cassidy was fined $25,000 for his comments against the officials. Cassidy stated that officials were calling more harshly against them suggesting bias. After all, It’s pretty clear that Cassidy was disappointed at their loss against the Islanders.
“Here’s what I think: We’re facing a team with a highly respected management and coaching staff. However, it seems like they promote a narrative that resembles the New York Saints rather than the New York Islanders.”

Kelly’s Lawyers Want OutR. Kelly set to lose legal support. The Chicago Sun Times obtained a letter from Steven Greenberg to Judge Ann Donnelly concerning their request to be removed from the case. Greenberg argued that he and Mike Leonardo will be better as “effectively standby counsel.”
“We understand that this request comes close to the trial, and we are prepared to proceed as scheduled in August. However, due to significant reasons, we find it impossible to continue representing Mr. Kelly under the current circumstances.”
Other Legal Counsel, Leonardo Weighed In
In addition to Greenberg’s statement, Mike Leonard offered more insight on the legal team’s decision.
“We, as trial lawyers, prioritized our client’s interests and were professionally uncomfortable allowing lawyers without federal criminal trial experience to take on significant trial responsibilities. We only felt comfortable entrusting such responsibilities to those with substantial experience in federal criminal jury trials. We wish Mr. Kelly the best.”
Why Jump Ship Now?
The R&B singer’s current legal team does not offer a clear explanation for their decision. At some point, their reasoning will come out. Nonetheless, Greenberg has previously vocalized his issues with the trial on Twitter.
“They’re putting in extreme effort to target #RKelly, resorting to a law from the 60s that has never been applied to anyone before,” he recently shared.
Kelly’s Pending Charges
The Chicago native faces charges for a multitude of offenses. They include sex trafficking, child pornography and racketeering, in New York, Minnesota and Illinois. Despite the case against him, R. Kelly denies all charges and has pleaded not guilty.

Meek Mill wastes no time addressing criminal justice issues. He is committed to update archaic parole practices that disproportionately disadvantage minorities.

This not only affects individuals and families without improving public safety, but also increases the prison and jail populations, wasting taxpayer money.

The website LessisMoreNY.org supports the parole legislation and highlights how it leads to increased prison and jail populations, resulting in a waste of taxpayer money. Meek Mill, who has personal experience with incarceration, has been actively advocating for criminal justice reform.
Fixing New York’s Parole Problem
Unfortunately, New York imprisons more people for non-criminal technical violations of parole than any state. These offenses include missing an appointment with a parole officer, being late for curfew or testing positive for alcohol or other drugs, the site reports.
The bill will result in parole practices. In fact, the current bill would restrict the use of incarceration for technical violations. It would improve due process, provide speedy hearings and provide earned time credits for people under community supervision.
Meek, Political Leaders’ Advocacy for The Bill
The Less is More bill, which is officially titled Senate Bill S1144, is supported by over 275 community and advocacy groups across the state of New York. Several Democratic members of congress also support passage of the bill. The bill is sponsored by Democratic Senator Brian A. Benjamin.
