On Friday, the late rapper’s manager, Steven Victor, confirmed on Twitter that a second album by Pop Smoke is still in progress, stating “POP SMOKE ALBUM” accompanied by flame emojis.
Last month, another one of his managers, Rico Beats, also shared plans. “I’ve observed and noticed everything, but remained composed. No need to worry, payback is imminent. Popsmoke’s new album is on its way…” expressed Rico Beats.
Pop’s debut posthumous album, Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, achieved numerous awards and platinum certifications since its release in July last year. The album, featuring collaborations with DaBaby, Future, Roddy Ricch, and 50 Cent, arrived just under five months after Pop’s tragic death in Los Angeles at the age of 20.
50 Cent, who co-executive produced it, may not be involved the second time around. “He discussed the new record with me, and I’m uncertain about my involvement in that particular project,” he revealed to Kris Kaylin. “I simply wanted to ensure that his record achieved its intended purpose. My connection with Pop was such that he looked up to me for guidance, believing that everything would work out if he followed my advice.”

Additionally, he accused Jacquees and Dreezy of being coke addicts themselves. “They tried to buy coke and weed from me, and that’s why we fought. ‘Cause I didn’t want to sell them the two joints that I had,” the coke dealer told viewers. Furthermore, the man told audiences he didn’t want to sell the couple his drugs because of their “disrespectful” nature. It’s funny how these fights stem from petty behavior.

According to the female rapper, the man punched her in the face as a result of involving herself the fight. “That man y’all seen on the floor punched me in my face yesterday over some stuff he had going on with Jacquees. They had their little altercation, I walked up to see what was going on, and I got swung on,” the rapper told fans.
Before Dreezy could even through a punch herself, Jacquees took shots at the coke dealer himself. Though, whilst the rapper had been dragged away by her security team, she made one last effort to get back at the coke dealer. Dreezy explained to fans that “while she didn’t get a chance to touch the man, she did throw her shoe at him.” What’s wrong with just walking away and taking the high road.

She doesn’t understand how someone else could have their hands on the shoes that were not supposed to be made in the first place.

Maybe, it was a false sense of confidence with Embiid back and playing, they expected to dominate. Philly’s sixers certaintly have what it takes to dominate . However,this game taught them they can’t rely on one or two players and they have to play a strong game cohesively, meaning they cannot make mistakes like this moving forward.

Embiid’s injury had the coach worry. And rightfully so, if Embiid injured himself further, it could mean he was out the rest of the season which would no doubt impact their chances. So, Doc was being cautious in his game plan.
“That’s why we told him to stand back (on defense). Those are the ones you get injured on…I thought he played in a space that he was safe other than that last three minutes.”

In the end, Embiid finished with a career high total 39 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Again, Embiid’s contribution despite playing quite well on an injury, was not enough to secure the win because the team made some errors and didn’t play as strongly as Philly fans were used to. Either way, there’s still life in this series and a chance to come out with a win at the end of the series.
Despite the day to day outlook, Embiid could be game ready if needed. Embiid was taking part in some shooting drills. Doc remarked on Embiid’s progress, “He looked great.”

However, even with this glimmer of hope, it is still uncertain whether he will play in game one. It is clear that the Sixers can play without him successfully but it isn’t clear how long they can keep this up. Embiid is a crutial element in their sucess thus far. The ballplayer is a big key in the cohesive and agressiveness the team desparately needs. The problem is should the team risk further injury by playing him game one?
The 27-year-old had an outstanding season and is a strong contender for MVP. In the regular season, In 51 games, he had an average of 28.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.4 blocks. He ranked seventh in ESPN’s Real Plus-Minus among all NBA players.
