Virginia Artist Kham Teaches Us How To Heal In His Two Tracks

Music speaks to people on a number of levels. It can even help us through hard times. The Virginia Beach artist Kham can relate to those moments in life, where the going gets tough. The Culture Villains’ signee has weathered through his fair share of hardships. Even so, he found his light at the end of the tunnel. Since 2018, Kham has quietly been growing his relevance in the HipHop scene.

That same year, he dropped his debut EP The Drive, which led to the hit single “Incognito.” He’s come out with other equally successful records such as his album Problematic and singles like “Eden.” Additionally, during his college days he toured with big-name artists like Social Club, KB and Steven Malcolm. The string of successes doesn’t stop there for Kham, as he’s won “Video of the Year” for his call-to-action visual “Botham” on police brutality. Additionally, Kham has received a stamp of approval from Earmilk, Elevator, and Rapzilla. His success alone is a message of hope.

Even during difficult moments in his life, Kham still keeps hope alive. During one of Kham’s darkest moments in his life, he started writing inspirational tracks. “To Whom It May Concern” and “I’m Healing” come as the newest singles Kham dropped. Both tracks find the artist fighting against internet trolls, protecting his energy and healing himself.

Kham Learns The Power Of Healing

In 2020, Kham went into a deep depression. Haters attacked him from right and left for speaking out against police brutality. The Black Christian spoke out against the injustice of the black community, shouting Black Lives Matter. Unfortunately, the hatred became too much for Kham to bare and led him to stop making music. Even worse, he disconnected himself from family and friends.

Fortunately, Kham’s girlfriend helped him get back on track and start the healing process. Her inspiring words led Kham to start writing again. Eventually, his therapy sessions and talks with God spurred his two newest tracks, “To Whom It May Concern” and “I’m Healing.” Furthermore, the latter of his tracks stemmed from a devotional he wrote for The Bible App. The message, “You can’t heal what you aren’t real about” finds the artist taking stand against his haters and standing in his power.
