Streaming giant, Netflix, has been jumping on the anime trend with newly released Sailor Moon Eternal anime trailer. This comes after adding several animes to their lineup including Yasuke and Demon slayer. Now, Sailor moon fans will be excited to see that the next anime released will be a movie feature of the esteemed show.
Excitement has been building ever since the two-part movie special debuted in Japan, earlier this year. Fans are esctatic that Sailor Moon will make an appearance on Netflix on June 3rd. Netflix’s adaptation will be released in english dubbed and original Japanese language (other languages available: Spanish, French, & Italian).
Eternals Movie Plot:
Its story that the movie is based on is the Dream arc of the manga series by Naoko Takeuchi. Eternals will be directed by Chiaki Kon and written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. This arc also inspired the popular TV series. Accordingly, the Sailor Guardians will be depicted as teenagers.
The Sailor Guardians face a threat when The Dead Moon Circus comes to Tokyo seeking to possess the Legendary Silver Crystal. Simultaneously, The Dead Moon Circus invades Earth with Lemures, nightmare-driven beings to slow down the Sailor Guardians.
In other news, Usagi and Chibi-Usa encounter Pegasus, who seeks a chosen Maiden capable of breaking the seal on the Golden Crystal. Meanwhile, Helios, using his remaining strength, strives to protect the Earth, while Usagi becomes entangled in Nehelenia’s nightmare. However, with the support of Tuxedo Mask’s unwavering heart, Helios finds courage. Will the villains succeed, or will the Sailor Guardians thwart their plot in time?
Tagline: “After a solar eclipse casts a dark power over the Earth, the scattered Sailor Guardians must come together again to restore light to the world,” reads the synopsis.
