Nil Bambu: My name is Nil Bambu. I’m 28 and from Miami, Florida.
HYPEFRESH: Can you tell us about your new single, “Incomplete”?
Nil Bambu: “Incomplete” details the story of two lovers who feel alone in love, despite their existing relationship. Bambu questions the relationship’s status and its withering emotional connection over production, accentuating her broken heart and her racing mind as they race to find answers.
“I wanted to sonically create a moment that people could feel when you’re so in love with someone, but you know it’s not working out.” Bambu says of the song. “You know this is a bad idea, that it’s over, but that doesn’t deter or take away from the fact that you love this person.”
HYPEFRESH: What do you like most about being a music artist?
Nil Bambu: The main thing I love about being a music artist is the ability to express myself creatively, translate emotions, and connect with people. The most remarkable part is creating a new world or painting a new picture. It’s as if the world were black and white. Being an artist allows me to add a little color, or in this case, a little more feeling.
