It seems so surreal that rap icon DMX has left the rap community. The rapper’s death shook fans to their core. Some even thought that no one could live up to DMX’s legacy. Fortunately, that’s all about to change with DMX’s daughter introduction into the rap scene. At just 8-years-old, DMX’s daughter proves she’s on her way to taking over the rap game. The tiny starlet has followed right in her father’s footsteps.
A Daughter Following In Her Father’s Footsteps
DMX’s death has left many in disarray. Although, his passing has led others to reminiscence on his legacy and unbeatable artistry. His 8-year-old daughter, Sonovah Hillman Jr., intends to continue her late father’s legacy. She has already released two catchy children’s songs, titled “I Hate Zoom” and “TikTok Kid.” Not to mention, the songs and their accompanying videos have caused quite a commotion on social media. Apparently, the kid has skill. Either that, or fans just can’t believe an 8-year-old can rap.
Additionally, producers have tried to convince the little starlet to posthumously collaborate with her father on two tracks. It’s unknown if the project will differ from the album scheduled for release by Def Jams and Ruff Ryders imprints. Nonetheless, it would be quite the sight to watch DMX’s daughter spit bars like her old man.
She’s The Spitting Image Of Her Father
Clearly, Sonovah Hillman Jr. has followed in her father’s footsteps. Though, Hillman wants everything from a thriving rap career to the rich lifestyle. In an interview with NBC-WFD, the 8-year-old revealed that she wants “her own mansion with 15 bedrooms.” Despite yearning for the materialistic things that come with fame, the 8-year-old also spoke on the importance of achieving her dreams. Hillman believed wholeheartedly that her father would be proud of her for pursuing a career in rap music. Obviously, the little starlet isn’t just chasing her dreams, but she’s doing it for her father, too.
