” Coronavirus Shut Down” 3 Major Things Harmed Due to It.

    Get rid of 2020.

The year 2020 has not been starting great for many people. We lost Kobe and his daughter Gi-Gi, and now the Coronavirus is making people scared to shake hands. Well, due to it, a couple of exciting things are called or postponed until things get better. Here are 3 of them.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo has shut its doors for the year 2020. The expo was supposed to take place in Los Angels on June 9-11, but that will not occur. This expo is where some of the biggest names in video game history come to announce new games and systems. But due to the virus, that won’t be happening this year. Luckily, some companies like X-box have live stream events to announce games for fans. So, things may not be too bad. Check out what was said about the cancel expo below.

After careful check of the health and safety of everyone involved, including fans, employees, exhibitors, and partners, we have made the tough decision to cancel E3 2020. This decision comes as a result of the growing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 virus. We understand the disappointment this may cause, but we believe it is the right choice given the current global situation. Our team will be contacting exhibitors and attendees to provide full refunds.

    2.Coachella

One of the biggest, if not “the” most prominent music festival, will be rescheduled due to the Coronavirus. The original dates for the festival were April 10–12 and April 17–19. But due to the virus, it has been rescheduled to Oct. 9-11 and Oct. 16-18, 2020. It’s safe to say that if things don’t clear up by that time, then Coachella will be canceled, period. Alongside this news, another legendary music festive in Austin, Texas, Called SXSW (South by South West), has been canceling as well. Check out the Coachella statement below.

As per County of Riverside and local health authorities’ guidance, we regret to inform you that Coachella and Stagecoach events are being rescheduled due to COVID-19 concerns. Your safety, as well as that of our staff and community, is our utmost priority. Please follow the guidelines and protocols set by public health officials. Thank you.

    1. The NBA

This has just happened, but the NBA has decided to put the rest of the season on hiatus until they can figure out how to deal with this Coronavirus situation. Due to Rudy Gobert (Utah Jazz) “mocking” (check the video) the virus, things got weird sure after. He tested positive for it and caused the suspension of the 2019-20 season of the NBA. Let’s just say that karma didn’t like that. It was shortly announced after the test that after tonight’s games on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, that the NBA will be on hiatus until further notice. Check out the statement below.

The NBA has suspended the 2019-20 season due to a player from the Utah Jazz testing positive for COVID-19. Rudy Gobert’s positive test led to the immediate hiatus after his actions seemingly mocked the virus. The suspension came into effect after Wednesday’s games on March 11, 2020, and will last until further notice.
