Cardi B’s Vegas Mic Toss Case
During the show, she asked fans to splash her with water to beat the scorching Vegas heat. A person in the audience threw liquid and ice at her, causing Cardi to launch the microphone at the woman’s head. The angry fan immediately filed a police report against Cardi B for battery.
The victim claimed the incident left her with a shoulder injury. She received medical attention during Cardi’s next performance. The victim also contacted the club to complain about the microphone thrown at her.
The club was only concerned about the security of the venue and wanted to ensure that Cardi was not hurt again. After the incident, the victim claimed that what happened shocked her. She did not expect the rapper to throw the microphone at her.
The fan says she tried to protect herself when the microphone bounced off the stage and struck her. She now has trouble sleeping, is in pain, and wants to seek medical attention again. Her civil lawsuit against Cardi B doesn’t seem to be concerning to the LVPD.
A rep for Cardi B said that they would not comment on the ongoing legal situation. Though they do appreciate the Police’s diligence and prompt resolution of the case. Cardi’s lawyers released a statement expressing their pleasure for the matter’s quick resolve.
