Cardi B And Megan Thee Stallion are dropping their collaboration song “WAP” this Friday!!
Fans are currently losing their minds because Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion just announced they are dropping a song together. The single entitled “WAP” is due out Friday and is Cardi’s first single in over a year.
Two of the three most prominent female rappers in the game right now are dropping songs together, and fans don’t know how to respond. Both Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have loyal fans who ride hard for their favorite artist.
The announcement of a collaboration between the two female emcees has fan feeling either joy or betrayal.
Cardi B is coming off more than a year away from releasing new music. However, after a breakout year in 2018, followed by a grammy-winning year in 2019, Mrs. Offset has enough status to take such a break.
Megan is still recovering from gunshot wounds from an incident that still hasn’t been fully disclosed. Thee Stallion though, has been holding down the game for female rappers this year. With hits “Hot Girls” and “Savage” under her belt, the Houston native has been kicking at the door of the top seat in female rap.
Fortunately for fans, Cardi B appears to be taking a different route then her predecessors in dealing with the upcoming rapper. Female emcees have been caught in a ” there can only be one” mentality for so long that beef is started before the artist even meet. Hopefully, this Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion collaboration is a sign of a change in times.
