HYPEFRESH: Can you introduce yourself and share a bit about your background?
BRYANT: Hi, I’m BRYANT, a singer-songwriter, musician, dancer, and choreographer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I’m 19 years old and currently in my second year of college, studying Musical Theatre with a minor in Songwriting.
HYPEFRESH: Could you tell us about your new single, “Criminal”?
BRYANT: “Criminal” is a heartfelt song about falling in love with someone who turned out to be problematic. Although he initially treated me with love and care, things took a negative turn. I realized that I needed to prioritize myself and move on. This song serves as a reminder of that experience. I’m grateful to my friend Sariud for collaborating on this track, as he truly completed its essence. Through this song, I wanted to express my sexuality and show that artists from different backgrounds and genres can come together to create something beautiful.
HYPEFRESH: What do you enjoy most about being a music artist?
BRYANT: The ability to touch people’s lives through my music is what I cherish the most. I strive to make an impact and leave a lasting legacy, similar to the sentiment expressed in Beyoncé’s song “I Was Here.” I want my music to reach people worldwide and provide them with a sense of acceptance and love, free from judgment. With a diverse catalog of music, I aim to cater to different tastes and connect with listeners on a deep level.
