Beyoncé’s Tour Plans & Unreleased Music Stolen in Atlanta Before Concert

Unreleased Beyoncé music and critical tour plans were snatched from a rental car in Atlanta, just days before her highly anticipated Cowboy Carter tour performances. The brazen theft happened on the evening of July 8, 2025, at Krog Street Market, a bustling hub in the city. Two members of Beyoncé’s team, choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue, parked their black Jeep Wagoneer around 8:09 p.m. and headed into the market. When they returned about an hour later, they found the back window smashed and two suitcases gone.

The stolen suitcases held more than just personal items. Thieves made off with jump drives containing unreleased, watermarked Beyoncé music, along with footage plans and set lists for past and upcoming shows. Hard drives specific to the Atlanta performances, set to kick off on July 10 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, were also taken. The haul included two laptops, designer sunglasses, clothes, and Apple AirPods Max headphones. Most concerning, the stolen items contained sensitive personal information about Beyoncé, raising fears of a privacy breach.

The Atlanta Police Department responded swiftly. They issued an arrest warrant for a suspect, though the individual’s identity remains under wraps until charges are filed. Using Apple’s “Find My” feature, officers tracked the stolen AirPods to an undisclosed location. They also conducted a suspicious stop, investigated nearby vehicles, and dusted the Jeep for fingerprints. Surveillance footage from Krog Street Market is under review, which could hold key clues to identifying the thief. Despite these efforts, the suspect remains at large, and the stolen items have not been recovered as of July 15, 2025.

The timing of the theft couldn’t be worse, striking just before Beyoncé’s four-show residency in Atlanta, which wrapped up on July 14. The loss of set lists and footage plans could have disrupted the carefully choreographed performances, while the theft of unreleased music poses risks to Beyoncé’s intellectual property. To prevent similar incidents, Atlanta police are urging the public to secure their valuables, part of their ongoing Clean Car Campaign to curb vehicle break-ins.
