Rapper Lil Toonk Denied Bond in Fulton County Felony Murder Case

Georgia rapper Lil Toonk, whose real name is Tavorian Lindsey, will stay in Fulton County Jail after a judge rejected his request for release on Monday.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Emily K. Richardson denied bond to Lindsey on August 17, 2026, in connection with a homicide case that occurred in May 2024. The defense attorney moved for house arrest with an ankle monitor from Fulton County Pretrial Services, citing his client’s promise to comply with all court orders. However, the judge denied the request.

According to Richardson, Lindsey was innocent until proven guilty. However, Lindsey had a criminal background, a history of failing to appear at court on previous occasions, as well as being involved in too many cases within the past three years. Her major concerns were the possible threat to the community, the possibility that Lindsey would commit other felonies if set free, and if he will attend other hearings.

According to the jail file, Lindsey has six charges of felony murder, two charges of criminal attempt to commit a felony, three or four charges of aggravated assault (the number varies slightly in different reports), and a charge of using a firearm or knife while committing certain felonies. These charges come from an event that happened on May 6, 2024.

The arrest was made successfully on July 11, 2026, when he was apprehended without a fight in Lamar County at Club Rendezvous located on Crawford Road in Barnesville, where he was giving a performance. The arrest was done by Lamar County deputies in collaboration with Fulton County law enforcers, who were there to take him in on the warrant for the homicide charges. Several guns, including rifles and a pistol, among other items, were seized at the scene.

Lamar County Sheriff Brad White praised the joint effort:

“The successful apprehension of this homicide suspect is a direct result of the strong partnership between our agencies and the dedication of the men and women who serve our communities every day. We are proud to assist our law enforcement partners in bringing violent offenders into custody safely.”

Court coverage has indicated prosecutors allege Lindsey and another man went to an apartment on Marietta Street in Atlanta to rob two people at gunpoint, and that 17-year-old Javonte Vaughn was killed during the incident. Full details of the investigation have not been extensively released by authorities.

These guns are linked to the July operation. They have not been reported in the media as evidence that the accused participated in the 2024 incident.

Lindsey is a metro Atlanta-based young artist who became popular in her area through her musical activities. She is currently being held at the Fulton County Jail pending trial. More information might come out in the course of future court hearings.
