Atlanta rapper Young Thug has purchased a newly built luxury estate in Cooper City, Florida, for $5 million in an all-cash transaction, according to property records and real-estate reporting.
The Grammy-winning artist, whose legal name is Jeffery Lamar Williams II, closed on the roughly 6,000-square-foot home on or around July 8. The seven-bedroom, seven-and-a-half-bathroom residence sits on two acres in western Broward County, south of Stirling Road and east of Northwest 101st Avenue. No mortgage was recorded, indicating the full purchase price was paid in cash.
Young Thug acquired the property through a trust tied to an LLC he manages with his longtime manager and music executive Geoff Ogunlesi. The home was completed earlier this year. It first hit the market while still under construction in 2025 with an asking price of $8 million, then was relisted in May for just under $6 million before selling for $5 million. An LLC controlled by Ishwar and Suriya Anderson, who bought the vacant lot in 2018 for $420,000, sold the property.
The modern estate features soaring double-height ceilings, sleek marble flooring, and solid wood doors imported from Italy. The chef’s kitchen centers on an oversized marble waterfall island and includes custom cabinetry and Sub-Zero appliances. A game room comes equipped with a professional pool table and a 200-inch LED television. The primary suite offers his-and-hers walk-in closets and a spa-inspired bathroom with a freestanding soaking tub, rain shower, marble vanities, and smart toilets.
An 884-square-foot guest cabana adds two more bedrooms and two bathrooms. Outside, the grounds include a resort-style pool and spa set against travertine pavers, a covered outdoor piazza, a three-car garage, and private equestrian facilities. Automated gates and a network of surveillance cameras provide security and privacy.
The purchase comes as Young Thug continues rebuilding his career after a lengthy legal battle. He spent more than two and a half years in custody following his May 2022 arrest in Georgia’s high-profile YSL racketeering case. In October 2024 he pleaded guilty to gang, drug, and gun charges. His five-year prison sentence was commuted to time served, and he received 15 years of probation that includes a decade-long ban from the Atlanta metro area.
With the Florida mansion secured and his first major headlining tour since his release—“The New Generation Tour”—set to launch in September, Young Thug appears to be establishing a new base in South Florida while moving forward with music and business.
