You’ve already heard about the recent Shannon Sharpe legal issues; now we would like to reveal the woman behind it and make you guys judge who is the victim here really. Gabbi Zuniga, a 20-year-old from Nevada, has stepped into the spotlight with a massive $50 million lawsuit against the former NFL star and sports commentator Shannon Sharpe. Known online as ‘Karli,’ Zuniga has built a big following as an OnlyFans creator. But today, she’s grabbing attention for something far more serious than her social media fame.
Zuniga, listed as Jane Doe in court papers, is no stranger to the online world. Her Instagram, @sheiskarli, has about 500,000 followers who keep up with her posts. On OnlyFans, she charges $12.99 a month for access to her 71 posts, aimed at an adult audience. That online success has taken a backseat now, replaced by the heavy allegations she’s bringing to court.
The lawsuit, filed in Clark County, Nevada, claims Sharpe sexually assaulted Zuniga multiple times. She says it happened in October 2024 and January 2025. According to Zuniga, their relationship kicked off in 2023 when she was just 19. At first, she says it was consensual, but things turned dark. She accuses Sharpe of rape, sharing private videos without her permission, and emotionally manipulating her. Sharpe, now 54, isn’t taking this quietly. He’s called the lawsuit a “shakedown” and says none of it’s true.
Sharpe’s legal team has fired back with their own evidence. They’ve shared explicit text messages they say came from Zuniga, pointing to a consensual relationship. They claim it involved sexual role-play and money agreements. On top of that, they say Zuniga recorded moments they agreed to, only to twist them later into something they weren’t. Sharpe even offered her $10 million to drop the case before it hit the courts, but she said no.
Zuniga’s camp isn’t backing down either. They’ve put out an audio recording where Sharpe allegedly threatens to “choke” her. She’s being represented by Tony Buzbee, a lawyer known for taking on big names. Buzbee has worked with over 150 alleged victims in cases against Sean “Diddy” Combs and once filed a suit against Jay-Z that he later pulled back. His involvement adds extra weight to this already intense fight.
Right now, the case is just getting started. Both sides are digging in, throwing out evidence that tells totally different stories. People online are split. Some are standing by Sharpe, while others zero in on Zuniga’s OnlyFans work and question her side. Platforms like X are lighting up with chatter, spilling her identity and picking apart what this all means.
