Taylor Swift‘s new album has one surprising “lover.”
Hours after Taylor Swift’s new album Lover was released on Friday, Scooter Braun posted a message on Twitter, calling the album “brilliant” and congratulating the pop star.
Regardless of what has been said the truth is you don’t make big bets unless you are a believer and always have been. Brilliant album with #Lover. Congrats @taylorswift13. Supporting was always the healthier option 😊 #brilliantalbum #brilliantcampaign congrats

“Regardless of what has been said the truth is you don’t make big bets unless you are a believer and always have been,” Scooter Braun wrote.
“Brilliant album with #Lover. Congrats @taylorswift13. Supporting was always the healthier option,” he continued, adding the hashtags “#brilliantalbum” and “#brilliantcampaign.”
Also on Friday, Taylor Swift mentioned Braun during an interview on the Elvis Duran Show, though she did not mention him by name. “I’m glad that this has shed light on it cause it’s sort of an insidious part of our business. I’m happy to take full ownership of this album. The person who bought my art has never made any art in his life so he could never understand that personal connection,” she said.
The release of Lover comes after weeks of drama between Braun and Swift. In a Tumblr post, Taylor Swift accused Scooter Braun of “manipulative bullying” over the years; following the announcement of Braun and Scott Borchetta’s $300 million deal that saw Braun take control of Swift’s masters.
Now that the mega manager has seemingly squashed the beef, perhaps Swift will make contact with him. Sources told Page Six as recently as Thursday that “The Archer” singer has ignored Braun’s attempts to make contact.
You think Scooter Braun was being genuine? Also, have you listened to Lover?
