Cactus Jack’s SoFaygo Returns With New Single “HELL YEAH”

Timing is everything in the music industry. It’s all about capitalizing and making the most of the opportunity. Do you know how many artists wish they could go back in time and release their music at the time it should’ve dropped?

It’s so many you don’t even want to know. I say all this to say Atlanta rapper SoFaygo has finally returned with new music. Did he play himself by waiting so long, or did he make the right move?

    Making The Same Mistake

They say that comparison is the thief of joy. But sometimes, it’s impossible not to make comparisons when there are so many similarities. SoFaygo isn’t the first signee of Cactus Jack Records; he is the most recent one.

Before him, there was Sheck Wes, who looked like a star after having a massive hit like “Mo Bamba.” I am worried Travis Scott will make the same mistakes with SoFaygo.

    Who am I kidding?

He hasn’t released his debut project with Cactus Jack yet, so I’m jumping the gun. Even though it isn’t time for the project, we have a new single from him. To start the rollout for his upcoming album, Pink Hearts, SoFaygo dropped a single titled “Hell Yeah.”

After listening, this single feels like an appetizer. It’s cool, but it’s not enough to fulfill your appetite, and it will have you asking for more. SoFaygo does just enough to pass the vibe test. There is also a guest appearance from fellow Atlanta rapper and OPIUM signee Ken Carson.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say Ken Carson carried SoFaygo on this song. And since I’m being sincere, Ken saved this song from not getting deleted, but luckily, he saved the day. I know SoFaygo has it in him to come harder, which is why I am so hard on him.

The worst part about it is that any of his unreleased songs hit harder than this single. The Leakers were putting in overtime during his hiatus when we weren’t getting music.

I felt some of his best music was being leaked, and I know that had to suck for him. I only ask that he brings that same intensity to his upcoming project. He is one of the few rage artists I see myself listening to.
