Taking things a step further, singer Jaguar Wright has revealed that pop sensation Rihanna was most likely trafficked to Jay-Z in the early part of her career. Wright stated that music producer Evan Rogers found a very young Rihanna in her native Barbados at 3 a.m., alone in a hotel room and without any sort of parental guidance. Rielle said that after the incident, Rihanna was whisked onto a private plane and eventually landed inside of a boardroom with Sean Carter, also known as Jay-Z.
Evan Rogers had, in several created prior to, alleged that he and his wife were holidaying in Barbados when he “discovered” Rihanna who had just approached him on the beach, and started signing. A version of the story now places Wright’s side of the story, thus questions the truth in these claims.
Author John Seabrook, in his book “The Sound Machine,” described Jay-Z’s first encounter with Rihanna, then 16-years old. Seabrook went as far as saying that Jay-Z held Rihanna in the building until the wee hours of the morning because he would not let her go unless she signed in their label. According to Rihanna, Jay-Z made threats to her, “There’s only two ways out, either with a [gun] or signing us,”. Out the door‘” if she signed the contract “‘or through this window'” if she didn’t.
When asked directly if she thought Rihanna was trafficked to America, Wright said, “It’s starting to sound that way, don’t it?” Wright went on to claim that Rihanna’s father was subsequently paid out a large sum of half a million dollars which she inferred was given to him to get his daughter to back off.
Wright shared with viewers the disturbing cover of Rihanna’s “Anti” album, which he said features a “child bride with a crown over her head and blood smeared on her face,” and recommended that this is something to be looked into.
Rumors have circulated that Jay-Z has an inappropriate relationship with Rihanna since she was a minor, making the Wright case controversial. Such allegations thrown at him evoke interest in the other side of the music business and its own protection of young artists. Up to this time, there has been no comment from Rihanna and Jay-Z on the recent affirmations made by Jaguar Wright.
