Woah Vicky Reports Her Mother Has Been Missing for Two Weeks

Social media influencer Victoria Rose Waldrip, known online as Woah Vicky, is publicly appealing for help locating her mother, Carla Elaine Johnson, who has not been seen or heard from for approximately two weeks.

The 26-year-old influencer shared a missing-person flyer on Instagram on October 8 and followed up with a post on X the next day. In the X post, she wrote: “Recently I went to jail for fighting with my mom in miami dade country it’s been 2 weeks since I got out I can’t find her anywhere nobody can and her phone is turned off if any one knows anything or has seen her please let me know her name is Carla Johnson.”

Johnson, 64, is described as slim and typically wears glasses. According to the flyer and Waldrip’s statements, she had traveled by bus from Atlanta to Miami to visit her daughter and was last known to be in the Midtown or Overtown area of the city. Her phone has been switched off, and family members have been unable to reach her.

A spokesperson for Waldrip told People that Johnson has long struggled with alcoholism and that she went missing after a relapse while staying in her daughter’s home. “At this time, Vicky is unaware where she is, and she prays to find her mother and for her mother’s safety,” the spokesperson said. “She asks anyone who sees her [to] contact the Miami police department.”

The disappearance follows Waldrip’s arrest on September 25 on a misdemeanor battery charge. Miami-Dade police were called to her apartment around 5:52 a.m. that morning after a woman reported she had been assaulted by her daughter and needed help retrieving her belongings.

According to the police report, Johnson told officers she had been staying with her daughter for five days. She said the conflict began on the morning of September 24 while she was trying to make coffee. Waldrip allegedly became irate, placed her hands around her mother’s neck, and told her she could not have coffee. Johnson left but later returned intoxicated, and the two fought again. Officers observed bruising on Johnson’s arms. Waldrip acknowledged an argument but denied assaulting her mother.

Waldrip was released after posting a $1,000 bond and has pleaded not guilty. She is scheduled to appear in court for arraignment on November 26.

Miami police confirmed to multiple outlets, including TMZ, that a missing-person report for Carla Elaine Johnson was filed on the evening of October 8 and that investigators are looking into her disappearance.

Anyone with information about Johnson’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Miami-Dade Police Department.
