An Ohio couple just wrapped one of the internet’s most charming year-long projects — and it’s pure pop culture gold.
David and Macey Wysong spent the first 12 months of their daughter Dianna’s life recreating Princess Diana’s most unforgettable outfits in miniature. From the massive Emanuel wedding gown to the legendary “revenge dress” and that cheeky black sheep sweater, the baby has been serving looks Diana herself made famous.
Dianna was born in October 2025. Her name — a combination of her grandmothers Diane and Anna — made the concept feel inevitable. “With a girl, we wanted to do something a little different… and with her name being Dianna, it just felt perfect,” David told reporters.

Macey planned and sourced the tiny versions of Diana’s wardrobe while David handled the photos and Instagram posts. The couple had already done fun monthly themes with their two older sons. This time they went full royal.

The project carried extra weight. After struggling with fertility before having their three kids, the Wysongs treated the photoshoots as pure celebration. “We know what it was like not knowing if we’d ever have kids of our own,” David said. “Now that we do, we just want to have fun and make memories we can look back on.”
They hit every major Diana moment: the wedding dress, the revenge dress from the night Charles admitted his affair, the black sheep sweater from the 1983 polo match, the Eagles varsity jacket, the Virgin Atlantic and Harvard sweatshirts, and several polished early-’80s looks.

The year closed out in early October 2026 when Dianna turned one. The family threw a full Diana-themed birthday party — parents in matching sweatshirts and Diana wigs, the boys dressed as royal guards.
The posts quietly built a following before exploding across social media. People called the looks “precious,” “serves,” and insisted Princess Diana would have loved them. Coverage followed from ABC News, People, and beyond.
Macey is keeping every outfit so Dianna can decide what to do with them someday. In the meantime, the internet got a year of pure, stylish joy — and one very well-dressed little princess.
