The NFL will play “Lift Ev’ry Voice and sing” AKA the “Black National Anthem before every week 1 game.
As part of The NFL’s attempt to salvage its reputation with black people, “Life Ev’ry voice and ,Sing” or the Black National ,Anthem will play at games. Don’t worry, all you “patriotism” phony fans; the stunt will only last one week.
Ok, I can not be the only one who is completely disgusted by this poor attempt by the NFL to support “social justice.” The same league that has yet to re-employ Colin Kaepernick after blackballing him for a peaceful protest. Not the NFL that just had a former MVP sign for a league minimum, who just happens to be Black QB Cam Newton.
The NFL intends to play the Black national anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” will be played before every Week 1 game and showcase logos on jerseys or helmets featuring the names of victims of systemic racism.

According to USA Today, the league will not only play a song for Black People, they gonna let their players decorate their helmets too. In a league that is over 50% African American, it’s a slap in the face to play the song for 1 week, let alone at all.

Somebody tell me Ashton Kutcher is behind a screen waiting to jump out and tell every Black Person we are being Punk’d. White America’s blatant refusal to first acknowledge, now pay for what it has done to black people is downright disgusting. Even more, the fact it’s the NFL that is perpetuating this atrocity they are calling Fighint racial inequality is worse.
The NFL had the chance to lead the way in the battle for racial justice and equality.
However, they punished players who used their platform to help the people that look like them. Roger Goodell kissed up Donald Trump as he called the mothers of these players “B**CHES.”
No, thank you, NFL, America, and the world; you can keep all these superficial gestures meant to show support. Money talks, and it’s time to pay up.
