Grant Huffman Conveys His Brand New Single “Still Hope”

North American Singer and songwriter Grant Huffman released his most recent single, “Still Hope.” The song stands out not only for its great vocals but also for possessing a more melancholic melody. Merging in a brilliant way elements of Hip-Hop, Pop and lightly flirting with elements of Pop Rock, see the use of excerpts from “Creep” by Radiohead.

Grant Huffman chatted with us and answered our unique questions. Check it out below.

HYPEFRESH: Let’s start by introducing ourselves. You can share your name, age, and where you’re from, as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

Grant Huffman: Grant Huffman is an artist from the Detroit area. He is the younger brother of nationally recognized & award-winning poet & professor Jane Huffman. Grant is also the son of a retired professional writer.

At 27, with an undeniable natural ability to write lyrics, he has over 1,000,000 Soundcloud streams and is rapidly gaining attention on his fledgling Spotify account. Grant spent his teen years acting recklessly & abusing drugs, getting him in trouble with his parents, school & friends. Now clean today, Grant uses his music to express his reflections on a traumatic past, personal and family relationships, and the complexities of a modern world.

HYPEFRESH: Can you tell us about your new single, “Still Hope”?

Grant Huffman: My new single, “Still Hope,” is inspired by the song “Creep” By Radiohead. It’s a glimpse into the mind of someone who feels like they’re an outcast and don’t belong in society.

This perspective is a contrasted view of a good friend and how they are indeed seen by the world, as a fantastic person, despite what they may think of themselves.

This song conveys a vital insight into the complexities of objectively assessing oneself by emphasizing that one’s inherent worth transcends any perceived shortcomings or flaws. It encourages listeners to approach themselves—and others—with greater understanding and empathy.

HYPEFRESH: What do you like most about being a music artist?
Grant Huffman: I love inspiring music listeners to feel better and do better. Any emotional solace I can bring to someone who may be suffering or does not make it the most fulfilling craft for me. If I can make it known to just one person that they’re not alone in their feelings and give some semblance of hope, it’s all more than worth it.
