David A. Arnold Passed Away In His Los Angeles Home

Fans are mourning after learning that stand up comedian, producer, actor, and writer David A. Arnold passed silently at his home according to Giant Freakin Robot. The comedian leaves behind a reputable legacy in entertainment. David Arnold’s stand up comedy career would lead him down the path to Netflix. Netflix granted him two Netflix comedy specials. Fat Ballerina would debut in 2019 while It Ain’t For the Weak would debut this last July, produced by Kevin Hart. Arnold would swoon audiences by his chucklesome recollection of fatherhood. Not only did the comedian prove is skills on stage, he would prove them on the television set as well. Critics applaud him for his work on Netflix’s Fuller House where the talent would contribute as a writer and producer on the show. The show is a spinoff from it’s original, Full House, in the 90s. Most of the show’s original character’s returned, including the late Bob Saget who passed on a comedy tour in January.

David Arnold Leaves Behind an Unfinished Legacy

Too many are going too soon. The 54-year-old followed in Bob Saget’s footsteps, with much more to accomplish. Both comedians were working towards the successful debut of Fuller House and on comedy tours! How ironic? According to The Source, Arnold was on his third stop on the four month tour.

David leaves behind a long list of achievements and credits such as writing for comedy series like, The Rickey Smiley Show, Raising Whitley, Tyler Perry’s House of Pain, and Meet the Browns. He also receives credit for creating Nickelodeon favorite, That Girl Lay Lay, where he serves as executive producer and showrunner. This makes the comedian one of few African American showrunners in Hollywood. Arnold’s died as a result of natural causes.
