Blueface may soon be walking free—months ahead of schedule—after serving time for violating probation connected to a 2021 assault case. According to new statements from his family, the Los Angeles rapper could be released within days, despite an original parole eligibility date set for December 2025.
Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold, confirmed to TMZ on October 10, 2025, that her son’s release is imminent.
“Well, today I got a call and I can’t tell you exactly ‘cause he’s like, ‘Don’t be telling my exact date,’ but we’re down to the last stretch. We’re days away,” Saffold said.
Saffold has reportedly begun organizing a “celebrity Blueface coming home party” and plans to send a limousine to pick up her son, accompanied by his children, once he’s officially released.
Originally sentenced to four years in prison in August 2024, Blueface—real name Johnathan Porter—was expected to serve the majority of his sentence until late 2025. However, new information suggests that his parole eligibility has been moved up to November 2025, with insiders now hinting at a release even sooner.
Legal experts note that, under California’s sentencing structure, inmates typically serve around 33% of their total sentence with time-served credits, which likely contributed to Blueface’s early release timeline.
Saffold also revealed that her son has undergone a dramatic physical transformation during his incarceration. She claims he has gained approximately 70 pounds, now weighing around 230 pounds, and attributes the change to a daily fitness regimen of push-ups and sit-ups. Photos circulating online show Blueface appearing more muscular and sporting new tattoos.
Blueface’s current sentence stems from a probation violation related to an incident at Skinny’s Lounge in the San Fernando Valley in 2021, where he allegedly assaulted a security guard. Though he received a four-year term, he was granted credit for around 440 days previously served, effectively cutting his remaining time to roughly three years.
In a 2024 radio interview from jail, Blueface estimated he would be free by “March or April 2025,” but it now appears his return will come even sooner.
In a related case, a Clark County District Court judge recently lifted Blueface’s ban from the Las Vegas Strip, permitting him to visit for work-related purposes only. The ban was imposed following a 2022 shooting incident at a Las Vegas nightclub.
According to Saffold, she’s been preparing for her son’s release “for over a year.” His girlfriend Angela, described by family members as his high school sweetheart, has reportedly been instrumental in planning his return.
Family insiders say Blueface intends to focus on reconnecting with his children and pursuing a “fresh start” in his personal life once he’s home.
