Born in Manhattan and raised in West Orange, New Jersey, Sahli is an Eritrean-American whose journey to this milestone began with early lessons from his family. Sahli’s schedule is packed. He’s the captain of the cross-country team, where he set a new school 5K record, and a leader on the track team.
