A Potential Verzuz Matchup
50 Cent first mentioned his interest in battling rival The Game in Verzuz. In his recent interview with Power 106, The Game mentioned that he is willing to participate in a Verzuz battle with 50. He actually has prepared more than 2 dozen songs for the battle.
“People always bring up Game when talking about Fif and Hip Hop. They say, ‘But oh, 50 wrote all your hits. You ain’t anything without 50.’ “It’s all about Game and Fif, Fif and Game.”
The Game Doesn’t Want to Battle Anyone Else
The Game made it clear that if it’s not 50, he isn’t interested. In fact, there is no way The Game is discussed without a mention of 50 Cent and vice versa.
“I’d only consider a Verzuz with him because it makes the most sense, and no one else can match up with me. Not sure if it’ll happen, but if it does, I’m down to sit with him and enjoy some Le Chemin Du Roi.”
Give The Game His Credit
The rapper reminds people how accomplished he is in the hip hop industry. The Game’s name rings in the streets.
“But me… there’s only one artist alive that has more No. 1 Hip Hop albums than me, and that’s Drake bro. I got 10 No. 1 albums, and you can check it on Google or ask any Hip Hop critic. Drake might have 10 or 11, but he’s amazing, like the Michael Jackson of Hip Hop. I’m not saying I’m better than him, though. There’s no writer, no artist like Drake. He different.”
