OnlyFans creator Sophie Rain is using her platform to make a difference.
The 21-year-old influencer from Florida announced over the weekend that she has donated $121,000 from her content earnings to Feeding America, helping provide an estimated 1.21 million meals to homeless individuals and families across the United States.
“Thanks to you guys we were able to raise $121,000 on my OnlyFans to feed the homeless in America! That’s 1,210,000 meals to families in need, couldn’t have done it without you guys!” Rain wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, October 26.
Rain included screenshots of her OnlyFans income statement — showing $121,116.93 in net earnings from September 30 — along with a letter from Casey Marsh, Chief Development Officer at Feeding America, confirming receipt of the donation earlier this month.
The generous gift came from Rain’s “Gooning for Good” campaign, a charity initiative she launched in September to celebrate her 21st birthday.
“It is my birthday in a week, and this year I wanna do something very special for it,” Rain said in a video announcing the fundraiser. “I wanna donate 24 hours of my income on the last day of September to a charity.”
The campaign quickly gained traction with her fans, who rallied behind the idea. Rain, who joined OnlyFans in November 2023 and has reportedly earned more than $76 million since then, said she wanted to use her influence for good.
“You can create content and still contribute back,” she said. “Even dedicating one day can make a significant impact.”
Feeding America is the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization, supporting over 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs nationwide. Last year, the nonprofit provided 5.2 billion meals to more than 46 million people.
In a statement to Rain, the organization thanked her for the contribution, noting that the funds come at a crucial time “as unemployment is increasing, job growth is decelerating, and temporary federal assistance is phasing out.”
According to Feeding America, every $1 helps provide at least 10 meals, meaning Rain’s $121,000 donation could supply over 1.2 million meals to needy families.
This isn’t Rain’s first major donation. In August, she made headlines after contributing $1 million to YouTuber MrBeast’s TeamWater campaign, which helps bring clean drinking water to communities around the world.
“This is an awesome cause,” Rain said during a livestream with the YouTuber. “I appreciate everything you do, you’re an amazing person, and I just want to support this because it’s awesome.”
Rain has been open about how her own upbringing shapes her charitable work. She grew up in a family that relied on food stamps in Tampa, Florida.
“Me and my family, we grew up on food stamps, like paycheck to paycheck,” she previously shared. “We had no money at all, so I knew that I needed to make money somehow. My only vision was helping my family out. That’s all I wanted to do.”
Rain’s announcement sparked a wave of reactions online — with many praising her generosity and others questioning the math behind the meal total.
One user joked, “She can’t do math but her heart is in the right place,” while another wrote, “It’s nice she’s using her assets to feed the poor.”
Rain took the comments in stride, focusing instead on the positive impact of her community.
“I love how powerful my community and my fans are,” she said in her fundraising announcement. “I love you all and greatly appreciate your support. Let’s work together to make a difference in America.”
With her OnlyFans success and growing social media following, Rain proves that creators can use their platforms to drive real change.
“You can turn anything into something that helps others — no matter where you come from,” she said.
Rain’s “Gooning for Good” campaign is her latest reminder that generosity and compassion can come from anywhere — even the unlikeliest corners of the internet.
