“Life has a way of coming full circle,” said Holloway, who starred at Seton Hall as a player and later was an assistant coach. “This is truly a significant moment for my family and me. Seton Hall holds a special place in my heart; it’s where I grew into adulthood and where I found the love of my life. “I can’t fully express my enthusiasm for beginning my journey as the head coach of the men’s basketball team at Seton Hall University.”
Holloway coming back home
The 45-year-old was a part of a Pirates team that was the last team from New Jersey to make the Sweet 16 since 2000 . However, he even broke more records with this exciting Peacock team. This may have been the best “Cinderella Story” in March Madness history. This team was the first 15 seed team to ever make it to the Elite Eight.
Saint Peter’s gave us one of the greatest Cinderella runs ever.
⭐ First 15-seed to make the Elite Eight
⭐ Major upsets over Kentucky and Purdue
⭐ Ended Murray State’s 21-game win streak
⭐ Obliterated brackets and captured hearts nationwide
