This morning, local rapper Sexyy Red turned a St. Louis high school upside down. What has she ever done? Rather, what hasn’t! As you probably know, Sexyy Red is the one with the fire beats and the catchy hooks.
Sexyy Red was reportedly not allowed to speak at a high school because she smelled like weed! But here is the catch – this didn’t prevent her from entering! So, just picture this: what appears to be St. Louis High School. And then there is the vibe: a car pulls up. A bunch of people cheers, and some jump out of their seats, which is very authentic.
Not everyone was excited to spread some love, however. Commentors on social media were not thrilled about Sexyy Red coming and argued that her lyrics were too explicit for the school. Yet, some users made a valuable observation. Rapper girlss visit schools all the time, don’t they? Why the outrage about Sexyy Red?
But it seems the rapper has responded to the scandal too. However, it appears that Sexyy Red was there for more than just rapping: “I knew how much prom cost,” she says, “So I wanted to give back. Had to get the guys a nice cut and the girls the bundles for some prom week freshness, ya know?” .
