Brian Steel added that he communicated with the Fulton County District Attorney’s office, which will dismiss the case as well.

The rapper has had a few run-ins with the law in recent years, including an April 2020 gun and drug bust in Georgia that resulted in him being charged with illegal possession of guns, marijuana and drugs. He has since defended himself, with his lawyer, Brian Steel, stating that he is innocent and that the case will be dismissed.
On Tuesday, February 14, Iggy Azalea responded to Carti’s arrest by slamming her former partner on Twitter.
“Been there, done that! Warned you.” -iggy Azalea
In a separate tweet, Iggy shared that she has no direct contact with Carti and their son Onyx Kelly. She previously revealed that she had a tumultuous relationship with the Atlanta rapper and that they ended their relationship in December 2019.
The alleged assault is thought to be the latest of many incidents that have left Iggy outraged and frustrated. In November of last year, she accused Carti of taking “care” of their son — a claim that was quickly shot down by Carti and he later confirmed they had split.
