When police arrived at the scene, they spotted visible injuries to her neck, chest, and back. The woman also claimed that Carti tried to pull her out of the car and put his hand over her mouth as she attempted to use her vehicle’s SOS feature to call authorities.
She told police she was 14 weeks pregnant when the incident happened and has been in a relationship with Carti for two years. She also claims that they’ve lived together since July 2020.
After hearing her story, Carti’s lawyer shared a statement with TMZ on Tuesday, saying that his client was “falsely accused” and that the case will be dismissed without any prosecution or litigation. Brian Steel added that he communicated with the Fulton County District Attorney’s office, which will dismiss the case as well.

In addition to his arrest, Carti was also charged with hindering a person making an emergency telephone call, which is a misdemeanor. His affidavit stated that his girlfriend claimed that she tried to make an emergency phone call but Carti put his hands over her mouth.
