UK Singing Star Luke Friend Returns With ‘Liar’ Single

1

You might remember Luke Friend as the teenage rising star that finished third on the X-Factor in 2013, but the now 22-year old Devon singer and songwriter is finally coming into his own as a bonafide musician with his brand new single titled ‘LIAR’. Released via ex Warner Music Vice President Kieron Donoghue’s indie label Humble Angel Records, ‘Liar’ is the first official single from Luke Friend, since 2016’s ‘Take On The World’ and his UK top 40 charting ‘Hole In My Heart’, before that.

Led by his powerful signature vocals and gripping raspy tones, ‘Liar’ is a soulful bass-heavy offering with an exquisite UK Garage-esque undertone, which sees Luke Friend finally coming to terms with a lying partner, and breaking free from them. The track is further held together excellently, by a thumping bassline, engrossing storytelling and an explosive chorus that will leave listeners completely hooked and singing along as Luke laments, “you’re a liar, liar, liar”.

Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Liar’, Luke Friend says, “it was inspired by heartbreak, but there’s a lot more to it than that. It’s what happens between two torn apart lovers, things turn ugly rather quickly, nothing was the same again, anger and frustration definitely played a part. Inspiration came from my life taking a quick, drastic turn. You know that sinking feeling you get when something’s not quite right? That’s how I felt, I literally wrote a song about that – the rejection”.

On how the record came together, the Devon native adds that, “I was going through one of the toughest times of my life, the only way I knew how to deal with the situation was to write a song about it. So I thought, ‘Hey! I need to stop suffering and start living again’. Instead of sulking alone in my room because my life wasn’t going how I thought it would, I needed to put the past behind me and hope somewhere within the writing process, I’ll find that little spark I’ve been searching for”.

I have a lot of friends who have similar issues as my brother. He was a really good friend, so I thought maybe it’s time for me to deal with the subject a little bit.”

Raphael states that the content will be from a deeper perspective that fans are used to. The project does not have a confirmed release date at the moment.

“Some of the same things. Different chords,” he remarks. “It’s a little darker in storytelling. Not really fast, but it’s a little aggressive.

Alien Parasites “Phronima” Have Been Found On The Co Kerry Coast

0

The dawn of the alien presence may be closer than we think as parasite creatures have washed up off the Co Kerry coast.

Recently, a string of eerie-looking parasites called Phronima – which look like the scary alien queen in the iconic movies – have been found on Ventry Beach. The creatures eat barrel jellyfish from the inside out and literally ride around in their corpse. And just like parasites, the female lays her eggs inside the barrel jellyfish.

The director of Dingel Oceanworld Kevin Flannery endorsed the findings and suggested: “So, I’m saying the aliens have landed,” he joked.

What do you all think? Is it the dawn of an alien revolution?

Is dimming the sun really the answer to global warming?

0

Dimming the sun is now the newfound strategy to solving the issues behind climate change and global warming.

How will this be done exactly?

A Stratospheric aerosol injection would involve spraying sulfate particles into the Earth’s stratosphere at altitudes as high as 12 miles.

The cost of this solution? A whopping $3.5 billion, with running costs of $2.25 billion a year over a 15-year period.

According to the Journal Environmental Research Letters:

“We make no judgment about the desirability of SAI,” the report states. “We simply show that a hypothetical deployment program commencing 15 years hence, while both highly uncertain and ambitious, would indeed be technically possible from an engineering perspective. It would also be remarkably inexpensive.”

Not sure how safe this will be… But it sounds like this may possibly be left up to chance… Could this harm the environment further? Will this truly be the solution? How will people of the globe be affected?

All the people can do is wait, watch and see. What do you think? Good or bad idea?

It seems lots of bad decisions are being made as of recent…

Solange Almost Decided Not To Choose A Path In Singing

2

True music fans love artist can perform live. Solange fits that mole as she brings her creativity to full life whenever she performs.

In a recent interview, Solange opened up about a life-changing event that altered her life, and prepare her for the life as an artist.  The songstress originally grew up believing that she would have a successful dance career. Unfortunately after injuring herself and tearing her meniscus at the age of 15.  Due to her injury, she found comfort in the studio as an observer.

The singer went on to say that she was extremely blessed with her voice despite her initial dreams of being a dancer came to an end.

“I would go to any studio session that anyone would let me sit in, and I would watch and I would study. I was extremely lucky and privileged that I had that kind of access, but I think about these landmarks —how this devastating thing turned into the thing that I actually do now, which turned into what I’m actually doing presently, which is incorporating my mess into my work and how any one of those moments I could have just completely surrendered.”

Even with her ability to sing, she originally thought that she would just be a songwriter.

“You know, I never thought that I actually had such a great voice. I thought that I was a really strong songwriter, I thought I had a really strong vision, but I just did not believe in my voice enough yet, so I worked really hard the art of developing a song.”
