The 33-year-old artist, a key member of Lil Durk’s Only the Family (OTF) collective, shared a heartfelt message with fans, expressing gratitude and resilience as he focuses on recovery.
The attack occurred on May 13, 2025, at approximately 9:25 p.m. at 2423 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive NW in Atlanta. Reports state that some men accosted Doodie Lo and demanded valuables, including his thousand-dollar-plus luxury watch. When things turned sour, the men shot him in his left leg and then ran off. The rapper was rushed to the nearest hospital, where he was found conscious and alert. Fortunately, he has since been released from the hospital and is on track to fully recover.
In his first public statement since the ordeal, Doodie Lo took to social media to share an uplifting message:

Reports on social media sites such as Reddit and interview updates from insiders in the entertainment sector fueled the news, projecting Doodie Lo’s profile in the drill arena.
