This holiday season proved special for some couples and friends. Though, for others the holidays weren’t all that great. Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia Thornton took to social media to air out some dirty laundry. Furthermore, the reality star accused rap star Nick Minaj of leaving her child out of a gift-giving practice this past Christmas. Luckily, things calmed down once the “Seeing Green” rapper reached out to the RHOP reality star. Hopefully these two get back to being friends again.
Mia Thornton Drags Nicki Minaj On Instagram
It can be quite hurtful when a friend slights us, especially our children. Apparently, Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia Thornton felt the burn when Nicki Minaj didn’t buy her child a Christmas gift. According to HotNewHipHop, the rapper went on a sort of shopping spree at a Gucci store and purchased several luxurious gifts. Clearly a fan of the Real Housewives of Potomac, the “Hard White” emcee sent holiday gifts to the children of the reality stars. All except Mia Thornton’s child. Moreover, Thornton uploaded a video on Instagram to address the incident.

In the clip, Thornton makes it clear that she “doesn’t play with children” when it comes to providing them with the best life. The reality star even went on to discuss her own horrid childhood. She even stated that she’d take her son to a Gucci store and buy him a gift herself. That’s one proud mother.
Nicki Minaj Wants To Make Amends
Fortunately, Nicki Minaj cleared the air between her and her hurt friend. The Billboard Award-winning rapper took to Twitter to reach out to Thornton. In her tweet, Minaj explained she had “trouble finding her on Instagram after her account suddenly disappeared.” She then made clear, that she too “doesn’t play with children like that.” If the two are such girl pals, they’ll hopefully straighten things out.
No one is obligated to buy anyone a gift. That’s just silly.
