Lizzo turned into a snitch real quick when her food went missing.
Lizzo is on the block tried to find answers, via social media, as to why her Postmates order never got hand-delivered to her. But let’s just say it wasn’t the best method of finding an answer because Lizzo really put a delivery person’s life in danger.
It’s unclear what type of food Lizzo was expecting, but she called out both the delivery driver and Postmates on Monday for failing to hold up their end of the bargain. She even included a picture of the delivery driver and her name–which didn’t sit well with half her followers.
Some of her followers called her out for being a bully and potentially getting the girl, who she named as Tiffany W., fired.
Page Six finds that following her public outcry, Postmates did deliver an apology.
“Lizzo contacted us, and we acted promptly to fix the problem. We apologize to Lizzo for any trouble caused.”
And as for Lizzo…well, she took responsibility for her actions too.
She offered up an apology for being careless with her social media and a high level of fame.
“I’m sorry for calling her out like that. I realize I have a lot of followers, and I should be more careful not to put others in harm’s way. I’ll be more responsible on social media and avoid unnecessary drama.”
